The location close to A9 was simply brilliant coming from Italy. Even if it upon arrival seemed a bit right on the street it opened up as a hidden gem for a one night stay. We brought our two Golden Retrievers and what a welcome. The owner had arranged a blanquet, a bowl, poop-bags and a bag of treats for every dog that made us feel very welcome. The rooms were big and clean and even if the interior wasnt the newest everything was clean etc. The dinner in the rest. Was very good and cheap and again the owner showed us very nice hospitality. Regarding the breakfast it was totally the same and we will for sure come back in the future. Also a last thing: a seperat entrance direct from the private parking was nice when ealking the dogs, and there was even a private garden and so on for our dogs to enjoy.

Perfect place (and facility) for an overnight stay; close to the highway, easy to find, with parking spot and possibility to eat very good dinner with even better beer. Or two. Breakfast was also better than expected.

Easy to guess: there are no tourist attractions in the vicinity (but they haven't been expected by us, of course). Just a small village. Nevertheless, we walked a bit around in the evening and the fields and forests were nice.

The rooms were clean and friendly. Modest finishing with some local accent. TV, electric kettle, tea... The shower is big enough for a short stay. As a family, we got two rooms next to each other (2 ppl per room). The hotel is located a short drive from the highway (3-5 min) and parking on site was big enough to accommodate hotel guest cars. Breakfast was a mix of self-service and ala-carte (eg. scrambled eggs).

I likeed the stay, the only watch-out - rooms are located on the floors with no lift (take into consideration if you have any mobility limitations).

Split mattress in double bed ( I chose the room as a single traveler to lay down onto a big mattress but unfortunately it was two mattresses pushed together, the towels in the bathroom are dated however everything was clean ,the quality of the breakfast is not worth the price. Dinner options are restricted already at 8.40 pm the kitchen closed at 9 pm

I'm doing a motorcycle trip from Treviglio (Italy) to Berlin. Gausthif-Pension Leupold was one of my stops. It was simply perfect! They have a garage with a really good price where I could keep my motorcycle, the room has everything! It was perfect. I've rested and was 100% ready to continue my road trip.

Staff were attentive and very polite, Traditional service and setting. Almost old-school service. The Leupold is an old building and has all that comes with that. There is no lift. It's in a remote location and is quiet and relaxing. On the Saturday I stayed, the bar shut at 10pm. Bit of a surprise. Comfy bed. Nice, off suite shower. Just off the motorway so good for a stop-off on a long journey. Evening meal nice, ample. Great breakfast. On site motorbike garage parking is a real plus.

A better introduction to facilities would be useful. I had to look around for the breakfast restaurant, eventually finding the lovely facilities there.

the door to the bathroom is not closing, it’s sliding door, no sound proof at all, this is totally uncomfortable. but the owner said they have other rooms, depends on when you made your booking. price was perfect so.

Owner was soooooooo nice, very accommodating! Room was super nice, dinner phenomenal and dessert was a plus! Breakfast was great also! Very quiet area and perfect for an overnight stay driving between Berlin and Munich!

Wouldn't change anything!

Super nice staff. Restaurant in the same building with nice bear and good traditional german food. Parking space is available next to the hotel. We had a small portable fridge that we could plug downstairs in a stuff-only room.

The room was perfectly set up for our family of three. They even provided a blanket and bowl for our dog! We payed a little extra to have our own bathroom and it was definitely worth it and still a very good value. The breakfast was pleasantly comprehensive and the staff was extremely helpful and lovely.

One thing to keep in mind is that the restaurant isn't open very late. So bring your own food if you arrive after a certain time. And there aren't any shops around that are open late, except a gas station.
