Nicos the chap running the place was wonderful,v helpful, v sociable Helped us with transportation to and from port.Left a bag on minibus and he immediately contacted the driver to return with my bag He remembered our names,recommended places to visit and restaurants to go I never felt he had any agenda ,just v nice guy

It was a traditional Greek bed which means it was raised so you had to use a step to access While it was v comfortable if you had mobility issues it could be a problem We mentioned it to Nicos who said he was changing them for next year

Stayed at Dorian Hotel over the Easter weekend. A very beautiful, spacious studio. Tastefully decorated. Fully fitted kitchen. Supplies of water, coffee and tea were very welcome as were the lovely Easter treats. The studio was exceptionally clean and, to our surprise, cleaned daily. A very comfortable bed and tremendous space in fitted wardrobes for clothes. Bathroom a good size and shower was powerful. Free pickup and transport from port but the distance to walk it is not so much so that was an added bonus. But, best of all, our host Nikos. A true gentleman who takes great pride, and rightly so, in both Dorian Hotel and his beautiful island of Symi. Nikos was very attentive to the needs of his guests and any communication to him before and during our stay was promptly replied to with the answer or clarification to the query. The fact that he carried both sets of our luggage up and down those flights of stairs was beyond impressive 💪🏻 Superman! And yes Nikos - WiFi was excellent too !! I definitely highly recommend Dorian Hotel. I hope to return to Symi again sometime and would absolutely aim to stay at this lovely establishment again.

Quiet location and very handy to Port Area. Nick is very hospitable, provided transfers to Port & even bought us a cup of coffee.

Room 25. The bed was on a sort of platform, hard to get down from in a hurry.no view from the room unless you leave a door open and then it’s extremely limited. The Kitchen & Dining Area was in a Cave with no Natural light. The shower and Grate on the bathroom floors are to big for the drainage pipes. These are annoying and represent trip hazard.

A perfect place to stay on Symi. Nikos was a great host. The apartment was clean and the views are amazing. Great quiet location but just minutes form everything you need. Have to add that the Poseidon Trip Nikos recommended around the island was perfect day out and great value for money. We'll 100% be back.

The only fault - as with all hotels this trip, is that there is no external door handle to the balcony - so air con switches off as soon as you go out to the balcony. But that's minor and we loved this place!

Nikos was the best host I ever seen! No kidding! He helped us a lot with everyting we needed and always on time!!! I really recommend this place, not only for its perfect location and great rooms with very confortable beds but also because you feel like you have friend there redy to help at a momentt's notice! You won't get better service enywhere else than here!

Great central location, beautiful view and the most helpful staff.

Quite a lot of steep steps to get there, not a problem for us but maybe elderly/ disabled people should be aware. Would 100% book the room with balcony, had it for one night and it really made a big impact to open the doors in the morning and enjoy breakfast with the view.

Dorian Hotel is owned and managed by a local family, and is located in a beautiful, recently restored typical Symian house. Mme Fotini is taking care of the guests, who is a wonderful, cultured, heartful lady, a proud symiot. She was helpful and informative, very kind and supportive. The hotel is easy to approach by Symian standards as you need to climb a few stairs only, it is located just one street above the coastline (other accommodation options might need many more stairs to climb), behind the emblematic Clock Tower. Perfect location in terms of being quiet, easy reach out to the local beach (Nos), to the supermarket, to the city center, bus/taxi/ferry stops, bakeries, restaurants, bars, etc., centrally located, but not in the very core of the bustling town. We did not use a car, just walked. Having seen how busy the harbour was, we were quite happy to stay a bit further away. We booked a small studio with a magnificent view of the city and the sea. The studio was spotlessly clean, and a lady came every day to make the daily cleaning and change the towels. The studio is really small, suitable for 2 people only, downstairs is the kitchenette and the balcony, upstairs is the bedroom with very comfy beds. You can also use two terraces with a table and chairs outside the studio. The air-conditioning is working very well. The kitchenette is equipped to serve the basic needs, there is a kettle and tea- and Nescafé bags, cream, and a bottle of water in the fridge waiting for you. The bathroom is also small, but perfectly clean, and convenient, with toiletries, towels, hair dryer, and a good hot water supply. There are limited spaces to put/hang your stuff and clothes. The studio is a real value-for-money option. One of the highlights of our stay was taking a cruise around the island by Poseidon boat, which is managed by the husband and two sons of Mme Fotini, a truly unforgettable trip with great stops and amazing food.

Very nice location, on a quiet part of the port, everything you need for cooking, breakfast snacks and the most important: extremely clean. The cleaning lady is a super hero, if I could I would take her home. Cleaning is excellent. Also was super nice to be picked up by the port so you don’t get lost first thing on arrival!

Before the arrival the communication was excellent then we had the meet and greet upon arriving on the island. Nikos was very polite , kind and professional in showing us the apartment that we found very clean with amazing views and all the necessary. If we were to return, we would stay here again and recommend to all the persons who want to enjoy an authentic stay.

Great Location. Quaint maisonette with character, nice balcony with fabulous sea and Symi views.

Nothing, all good.😀 Just to mention, there are a lot of stairs up to the property with your bags (two more flights before the one shown in the picture) so wouldn’t recommend for people with disabilities.
