The large soaker tub in the bathroom was a pleasant surprise, extra pillows and blankets already in the room - didn't have to ask for them. The woman at the front desk was very kind and informative - she made sure I was informed and had everything I needed. Was patient while I had to deal with a credit card issue and was super helpful.

The room door was so hard to close we had to slam it to get it to shut, no deadbolt just a chain and parking directly in front of the room was both good and bad. Bathroom door also had to slam to close it at all. There was a small nightstand on one side of the bed, and one power bar on the same side of the bed - the other side had no outlets, no table or nightstand, had to get up and walk across the room to even charge my phone.

Our purpose for travel was to move my Mom from the Kootenays to Vancouver Island to be closer to family. It had been an exhausting and emotional time, and in particular, moving day. We were travelling with all of her possessions and arrived very late at night. Your staff were so friendly and accommodating. They were kind and made us feel so warm and welcomed! Although the rooms did not end up being side by side, we appreciated one room having a view of our uhaul trailer to ensure we could keep an eye on the vehicle.

Rooms are rather dark and could use some updating. Although there was shampoo, lotion and conditioner in the bathroom, there was no shower gel.

The air conditioner is a bit old and facing towards the head of the bed, but it does not affect my sleep

Good location. I had a problem with my room and staff handled it right away and did a good job responding to my needs. They really cared about me. Good, clean comfortable room.

A little gap between the AC unit and the wall kind of made me feel a little unsafe.

This hotel was very reasonably priced, and staff were very welcoming.

Availability

The air-conditioner had a gap around it. Let warm air in and lots of noise from outside. Power outage and fire alarm caused some issues too.

We found our room to be quiet and clean. The beds are very comfortable.
