1. Breakfast is outstanding 2. Decor of common area is outstanding 3. Exceptional good taste and detail oriented 4. Staff - especially at the bar and breakfast buffet - were wonderful. 5. Parking lot is close by 6. Location is great 7. If you can afford it, ask for the newly renovated rooms. The bathrooms are a treat!

1. We booked 2 rooms and, despite our request, they were not together and receptionist blamed it on Booking.com 2. Rooms were supposed to be in same category and were actually same price, but our friends were put in a much smaller room, very stuffy and with only one window, not as nearly as nice furniture as ours. 3. The rooms they rated as same category should not be in same price range. This was not fair to our friends. 4. When reserving the De luxe rooms, make sure you ask for the rooms with more windows. That is a fair bargain. The rooms with one window are not.

Great location and staff in the bar and breakfast room were very friendly and helpful

We drove to Paraty but there was no information from the hotel about how to access their car park. It is impossible to drive to the front door if the hotel as the street is chained off. A street beggar showed as the way! The reception desk staff are very rude and give a very poor impression of the hotel. No senior manager was in evidence at all during our stay.

I loved everything about this hotel! The place to stay in Paraty.

It can be noisy in the evening from the streets in the historical center.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Sandi!!. From the moment we walked through the door, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism. ( Agia saborizada y fria!!) The staff went above and beyond to make our 37th anniversary celebration memorable. The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed, with all the amenities I needed. The food at the hotel restaurant was delicious, and the service was impeccable. I can’t say enough about the stunning views from my room , the hammack , the coffee the balcony....and the overall ambiance of the hotel. I would highly recommend Hotel Sandi to anyone looking for a top-notch hotel experience. It truly exceeded our expectations, cherished memories!! and I can’t wait to return!!

Central very original

Unfortunately I had a problem regarding a transfer form Paraty to Sau Paulo . The guy at the reception was not interested in helping he said I had not paid and was rather rude . I eventually got my Brazilian friend to talk to him and show that I had paid . Eventually everything was sorted out and I had paid but he was rather angry with me instead of sorting it out together.

Location, close to everything! The hotel decoration was nice, so beautiful!

I did not like the shower, since it accumulates water on the floor. I compared my bathroom to the bathroom of my kids on suite (101/103) and found out that they had a nicer/more modern bathroom.

It was the most incredible experience! The hotel facilities, the bedroom was so comfortable and all the amenities were incredible- pools, jacuzzis, restaurants, special discounts and drinks. Also the best breakfast I had in my life, with locally sourced produce, bread and cakes baked in house.

I like everything.

The water in the fridge in the room was not for free that I thought was a bit mean and unnecessary - the only dissonant note in an otherwise lovely stay

Beds and pillows were quite conforming. Breakfast was great, all spaces around were well decorated and maintained. Nespresso in the room was a great plus.

Front desk was not at the same level. There were no medical assistance ( I got intoxicated). The room was smaller than expected.

Excellent, fresh food. The pool bar served delicious drinks and tasty plates - big and small. Great service by hotel staff overall.

The waiter could not understand the way I want my eggs to be cooked (not because of language barrier)
