Unique hotel with a lovely staff that truly CARE about your stay! I´ve been to many hotels of all kinds and when you spontaneously start to SMILE, it´s a good sign! It doesn´t happen often, but I had it at HOTEL ALTES THEATER HEILBRONN. The rooms are lively decorated, the attention of the owners is close and personal, the breakfast is good and personalized (they even go shopping for you to get what you like most) and everything is clean. Further to this, the hotel is on walking distance from Heilbronn city center, and on the route between Frankfurt and Stuttgart for travellers. IT BREATHES POSITIVE VIBRATION! Totally reccommendable!

Oh WOW the deco was fantastic! each room was themed. and not just room, the bathroom too. Rooms were very spacious and beds very comfortable. I have been messaging the hotel prior to the arrival, and got the answers very quickly. the owner of the hotel has greeted us in a very friendly manner, and told us a little bit about the history of the place. also pointed out where to go to walk our dog - beautiful area. Highly recommend Greek restaurant. the town itself is very much pet and people friendly. fantastic experience

not much of a problem for us, but the church bells (right opposite the hotel) ring, every 15 min from 7am till 10pm. The owner has provided ear plugs (just in case ;-))

Very interesting place, almost a work of art. Owners paid attention to the smallest details in terms of design, trying to make each room special and unique, and adhering the the "theme" of the room. For example I stayed in the room called "ocean". Each from the 11 rooms has a different theme, and I look forward to staying there another time trying another room. Breakfast was top-notch too! As a nice bonus, they let me play the piano (there is one in the common/breakfast room), which was a great relax for a mind after a long car ride.

In certain instances I had the feeling that the design got the preference to functionality/comfort. Having said that, for a short stay this is not a problem at all, and the place is 10 stars regardless. But I can imagine that someone who stays for a week, for example on a business trip, would prefer if functionality/comfort was the 1st priority, and design close 2nd :).

Location is great, except that church bells are quite loud and start ringing at 7 AM. (hotel does supply ear plugs). Hotel is very beautifully furnished, lots of flair and thought went into the decor. Corridors are full of areas with lovely sculpture and healthy looking house plants. We met the person running the hotel, he was also very friendly and informative.

This hotel is amazing unique- ran by an amazing couple. The hotel was spotless, the bed so comfortable and the breakfast was outstanding. The bells from the church were lovely to hear and stopped at 10pm. However the ever thoughtful hosts do put earplugs in the room 😘

Super friendly owner who cares about environment. Breakfast is ordered and prepared as you wish. Means nothing too much and nothing tool less and not spoiling of food.

The direct environment has not so much to offer. But a 45 minute walk through the beautiful park and you are in the old city center of Heidelberg. Just great, also for dinner.

Friendly open staff , made you feel welcome quiet location close to the river , and 3 km walking distance to Heilbronn nice breakfast of bacon and eggs , toast one day and scrambled eggs and salmon the other easy parking, well run family hotel .

The Hotel is very nice.It has a very good location reachable by bus,car or even by foot from the train station.The rooms are very nice decorated and comfortable.The staff is really friendly and the breakfast was perfect.

Hosts really loves their bussiness and dealing with guests. Every technical detail in the room was perfect - wifi, lights, temperature, bathroom equipment. What more, everything was visualy original. Really great place for staying.

Apartments with taste , each room different , in old stile building near the church .

Little bit far away from the city center with tourism attractions, small breakfest.
