Great location right next to Charles Bridge. Close to all major attractions. Very freandly and polite reception staff. Good price for such a location. Breakfast included. There is a minibar at reasonable prices.

There was a strange musty smell in the room, possibly due to old furniture or lack of ventilation. But the bathroom smelled normal .The overhead shower was covered in rust, but the hand shower was clean and new. It would be worth paying a little attention to cleaning(wipe sockets, hair dryer buttons-they were covered in dust ). The window only opens into the corridor, which makes it a little gloomy. The woman working at breakfast downstairs was very rude, she spoke something rudely, but we did not understand her.

The location couldn't have been more perfect. Myself and my partner enjoy long walks and to most places by foot. This was perfect for getting to all parts of the city. With a tram stop a short distance away too, everything was so convenient. The breakfast was always delicious, and the staff were so helpful. When we were visiting, we got caught in some pretty heavy thunderstorms, but the room facilities made it so comfortable for drying off and getting ready to head back out. Still can't get over how spacious our room was too!

Not necessarily a bad thing, but the stairs to the top floor are tough on the legs when you've had a busy day. Don't feel bad if you take your time to get up them, and it's funnier to see who has the wobbliest legs at the top!

A fantastic traditional hotel very close to Charles Bridge in a picturesque part of Prague. The room on the top floor was exceptional and well exceeded our expectations. The hotel was great at communicating with us before we arrived and arranged a transfer from the airport. Breakfast was great in the basement which added to the quirkiness. If you like traditional hotels at a great location then don't hesitate to book.

Nothing really the only thing to consider is there are no lifts and the hotel is on 4 floors so if you have any issues getting up and down stairs maybe contact the hotel in advance

The location of the hotel is excellent, just on the other side of Old Prague that can be accessed over the spectacular bridge less than 200 yards away. Being on this side not only enables you to explore other parts of Prague that are as equally interesting and historical (the church of St Nicholas and the bars/cafes surrounding the square are well worth a visit), you can also spend time away from the busier tourist parts. Highly recommend this hotel and the staff are all exceptional - especially the front of house staff😍.

Nothing really. Just a few minor tips - get an Uber from the airport and back they are cheaper than booking others via booking.com or other sites, be prepared to be well fed - the portions sizes are immense and take good walking shoes, whilst you can use local transport the best way to see Prague is on foot - lots of walking tours that are well worth the money and also good for your health (after all the eating the exercise is well worth it!!)

The perfect hotel for a long weekend in Prague, the most perfect location, right next to Charles bridge and surrounded by many restaurants. The hotel itself was beautiful, felt like a real traditional Czech atmosphere. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was really roomy, with a mini fridge full of goodies, fabulous AC, modern and clean bathroom. Just perfect!

The only slight downside was the lack of windows in the bedroom, we had a central room so it wasn't possible but I do like to look outside even to see what the weather is doing. Not a big deal at all but if you want a window check which room you're booking.

It was a real pleasure staying at U Černehó Orla residence during our visit to Czech Republic. It's located in the heart of Prague city center, a few steps away from Charles Bridge. We could go everywhere on foot. Our room, Royal double room on 3rd floor was exceptional!! The breakfast room was also interesting, as it's an old cellar renewed and beautifuly decorated. Breakfast was yummy, with lots of options everyday. 👌

There's no elevator in the residence. For us was fine, because we had no problem with the stairs. It ' ll be a problem though for sure, for people who can't make it with stairs .

The hotel is in an excellent location. Whilst it's an extremely busy street, you're right next to Charles Bridge and a plethora of great restaurants. Immediately opposite is a great craft beer bar and a fantastic restaurant called Porks. A short walk away is things like Kampa park, the lennon wall and the castle etc. It's great. We got supplied a cot which was waiting in our room. Staff were friendly, albeit not there after 4pm each day.

The room shown in the majority of photos wasn't the room I got. I'm guessing they have two rooms under the umbrella of "Royal Deluxe Double Room", which apart from the penthouse apparent is the top level room. The one in the photos (that I thought I was booking) looks massive... ours was much smaller. Whilst the room was nice, great view of the road etc, it wasn't the one I thought I was booking. A clearer understanding of the room would be better. Fine for me, but if you don't like stairs, don't book the more expensive rooms as it's a trek! :)

Excellent location, close to Prague Castle, Charles Bridge, the river, Petrin Tower and the fabulous old town Christmas Market. Beautiful hotel with real charm and character. Huge, beautiful, warm room. Large comfy bed. Excellent breakfasts. Check in and check out is quick and easy. Staff are all friendly and front desk was exceptionally helpful when we needed help with directions, public transport and booking taxis.

Shower ran hot and cold. Floor needed a proper sweep/ hoover.

Breakfast was decent, but if going late, most of the food was already cold. Location is amazing. Very clean rooms, comfortable beds. Staff was friendly.

Hotel needs some refreshing. Bathroom is clean, but could have being a bit more modern. Room could have included for this price some more "extras", such as bathrobes, hair conditioner etc. The overall feeling was that for the price paid the value received should have being higher. This was ok 15 years ago when we first stayed in this place, but not any more...

Beautiful, unique hotel. Full of character. 2 minute walk to Charles Bridge. Breakfast had a good variety. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was large and spacious.

The crowds were overwhelming when we arrived. Our taxi could not drop us directly in front of the hotel so we were dropped off a few meters from the front door and had to negotiate our way through the crowd. The sign for the hotel is easy to miss. These were minor things..I would still stay here again.
