We treated ourselves to a suite which was great for a two night stay so we could properly chill in the room. Room was great and super clean with a very large bathroom. It only had a bath which was a struggle for us but the property advised us when we booked so we were aware. Breakfast was OK. Hotel is directly in town with secure parking.

Hotel was great, if anything it would be great to make the breakfast a little more interesting?

Room was fine, location excellent. Nice view of roofs from window. Fridge in room. Good toiletries. Really hot water. Garage really convenient and very necessary. Bang in the middle of the quaint (touristy) old town with all its quality shops and bars. A really good buzzing local vibe.

Bed was just a bit too hard. Continental shape and very plump pillow (flatter rectangular shape preferred). Although fridge kept drinks cool (it was very hot) the noise and the heat from it were irritating during the night. Garage not open until 7 a.m. so could not just get up and go (unless public (also paying) carpark used.

Quiet, sensitively modernised traditional hotel with excellent soundproofing and lighting and lots of hanging and shelf and table space. Comfortable bed. Ok breakfast but only wheat flakes, no muesli. Lots of sweet cakes, but very little fruit .

Lack of fresh fruit at breakfast. A handful of apples and dried apricots doesn't really cut it.

Very nice hotel in the middle of town, very convenient, parking available, they even accommodated our too high van in another garage of the hotel, beds were very comfortable, room a decent size, breakfast buffet was very good.

The bathroom didn't have a strong enough fan, so when you take two showers in a row, the steam makes the entire bathroom wet and it stays like this for hours. So it's always very damp in there and a damp smell. The floor also flooded slightly and the water never went until we used a towel. Plus the shower curtain is out of cloth, so it also stays damp for a long time and contributes to the wet smell. They also didn't offer any vegetarian milk nor gluten-free bread.

The room was comfortable with friendly and helpful staff. The location is perfect, and the private parking well organized. Intructions are clear and we had a lovely stay.

As is oftent the case, self service breakfasts need more than one person to run them, but all too often, hotels seem determined to economize in this area, which detracts from one's comfort.

Great location, right in the centre of Saintes. The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The bathroom had a walk-in shower and the bed was very comfortable. Garage parking was very convenient. The breakfast was good and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

A nice room with a good bathroom. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The garage parking was a real bonus and the location is right in the heart of Saintes. Lovely! We had our evening meal at La Terrasse and it was superb. Breakfast was very good with excellent coffee.

it was clean and comfortable. Location was excellent. Breakfast very good with lots of choice. Air con a massive plus.

Only complaint was that we paid for private parking and was told that the garage would close between 9pm and 7am which was fine. However I needed my car one afternoon around 2pm and everything was locked including reception and when I asked some passing staff I was told it would be open again at 4pm. I needed to collect my husband from an appointment and this was very inconvenient.

good location in centre of town, lots of good restaurants nearby, quiet and comfortable room, very helpful staff, good breakfast, our dog was made to feel very welcome, secure parking available (although you did have to pay)

Central location in the middle of town, great for walking to restaurants in the evening. We parked in the hotel garage for 12 euros which is a good facility. Aircon in the room worked well and the bed was very comfortable

Unfortunately the garage dropped dried white paint or plaster down the side of the car.
