the room is very nicely furnished and very spacious. it really is a nice place to hang out when you are tired with sightseeing and just want a place to hang out. there's a nice cafe downstairs with a good coffee and breakfast. Good blackout curtains make it easy to deal with a jetlag

the hotel is next to a really noisy street (thankfully the hotel provides free earplugs). there's a noisy fan in the bathroom (my personal pet peeve) having to pay a deposit is a bit annoying, especially on a day when you travel back home and want to spend your last bahts. You can pay it in euro though!

Great location for kohsan road, river, temples. Big rooms, basic but clean with all you need. Great coffee shop downstairs with good breakfast snacks. Fabulous staff.

Right on Noisy raised road and ground level road so hard to sleep if you are not used to it.

Amazing Stay in Bangkok! I highly recommend this place! The room was clean, equipped with all the necessary facilities, and the staff were incredibly polite and hospitable. They helped me with my luggage and kindly allowed me to store it after check-out. I was also able to check in early, which was a lifesaver after my overnight flight. The hotel is new, clean, and well-maintained, with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The staff truly go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience. Bonus: they have a café with exceptional coffee - definitely worth trying! :)

Nothing, everything was perfect

Perfect place to stay if you’re looking for one night in Bangkok before heading off to airport. I arrived at 01:30am and therefore it was important that the accommodation offers checkin during night as well, which they did. The room was spacious and I had plenty of room to spread my things out for sorting my suitcase. Although the accommodation is located next to a street with lots of traffic, then I was tired enough to sleep it through. Also, there were earplugs in the room in case you’re a light sleeper. They also offer free luggage storage after checkout which I happily used so I could have a chance to explore Bangkok a bit before heading to the airport. Great value for money and would use it another time if I were to ever come back to Bangkok.

Nothing, everything for perfect

The hotel was calm, comfortable and clean. Everyone there was friendly, accommodating and attentive which made asking for help or recommendations a pleasure. The rooms are spacious with wooden floors and are airy and relaxing and air conditioned. There is a little dressing area with a full length mirror and space to hang up clothes. With a huge comfortable bed, fresh towels and bottled water, the hotel is a welcome retreat after long days exploring in the heat and bustle of Bangkok. The cafe offers delicious coffee and a range of snacks and meals, again making this a great place to stay if you want to be able to eat dinner quietly and comfortably after busy days of sightseeing. As guests of the hotel we were even able to order food a little later than the cafe opening hours, and there are books to read in there which carry the gentle, calm and reflective design through to calm your mind. Location wise, Khaosan Road is a short walk away (around 15 minutes) as is the canal and the river where you can hop on a boat which stops off at places such as the Grand Palace and Wat Arun temple. I would absolutely recommend staying here for a feeling of being in a home away from home.

If you don’t like noise on the main road this may bother you (it was no problem for me) but we were offered ear plugs which easily resolve this! Plus it’s worth it for the central location.

This is a new hotel, very clean, everything is in excellent condition. The owners are very nice people, speak excellent English and help if you need something. The beds are very comfortable, large. The room is also spacious, clean, lots of light. The air conditioner is very quiet, located in the right place so as not to interfere with sleep. There are many shops in the area. Not far from the city center. They also have a cafe with various dishes.

It's noisy outside, because there's a highway and a road nearby. But it's not a big problem, you get used to it quickly. It's important that it's not very noisy at night and doesn't interfere with sleep.

I loved the charm of this guest house. We stayed in a second floor room, and although it is on a busy street we found it quite peaceful inside. Beautifully decorated in warm wood furniture and perfectly clean. Our room also had a kettle and real tea cups which I really appreciated. The staff was very friendly to us as well.

We were hoping to try coffee and breakfast at the roastery there but it was closed for renovations! We will look forward to it in the future. It would have made our stay at Samer even more convenient, but we can hardly complain because we loved everything else.

The host is really helpful. She gave us great recommendations for things to do, however she did mention she's quite introverted so she didn't have too great an idea of the touristic spots. The room is spacious. We had a bunk and a queen size bed. Towels were provided. Water was also provided. The cafe is a nice touch, however it is quite expensive.

No amenities in the hotel, just a room and a front desk (reception). Hotel shampoo and body wash is not great. Smells kind of funny.

After a day of temple hopping and street wandering, returning to Smer Boutique Stay felt like coming home. The friendly staff greeted me with warm smiles and helpful recommendations, and the serene courtyard, with its lush greenery and trickling fountain, offered a welcome oasis of tranquility. What truly made my stay at Samer Boutique Stay special was the genuine Thai hospitality. From the moment I arrived, I felt like a valued guest rather than just a tourist. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, offering local tips and even helping me arrange a traditional Thai cooking class.
