A comfortable room with an excellent shower, decent bed, very friendly and helpful staff, and a very good breakfast. Sadly the hotel did not have a bar open, but otherwise was a good place to stay, and being on the edge of the old town, was a great place as a base to explore the shops and restaurants there.

It would have been nice if there had been a bar on-site so that our group could have got together for a drink or two prior to going out for dinner, but that was a minor thing. From exploring the hotel, it looked there may be a bar open later in the season, next to the terrace by the riverside.

The suite we had was a great size. There was free water, fruit juice and beer in the fridge on arrival. The water was replaced daily. The breakfast was good and the staff were excellent. The location was perfect. There was free parking too. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Unfortunately as it was hot at the time of our stay, it was difficult to keep our room cool. There was no air conditioning in the room. So we had to keep all the windows open and close the curtains. We should have asked for electric fans.

Room was large and very comfortable, beds likewise large and comfortable. The bathroom was very well presented with a good shower, breakfast was very good and well worth having. So close to the town its in a wonderful position to take advantage of.

Parking was a little bit difficult but worked out ok in the end. We were able to park quite close to the property and this posed no real problem.

great location for the old town with is bars and restaurants. Parking is restricted somewhat but they kindly allowed us to use their garage. it is only a small garage so groups of more than a couple of bike may not be able to use it. the room was spacious and comfortable. the staff friendly and helpful and.breakfast was delicious (I went back for seconds, but don’t tell them 🤫)

No air conditioning but the weather was unusually hot, so in normal times it would not be an issue. The garden terrace bar didn’t appear open. but there are plenty of other places around

Location on our route to Hungary is excellent. Breakfast is good. We like the restaurant, but check as its closed a couple of nights in the week.

This hotel needs an update. The rooms are OK but very tired and dated. Nothing that nice cushions on the sofa, colourful bedspreads and fluffy towels would not fix. Bathrooms are a bit scruffy. Not dirty, just that nothing has been done for years. Many people need to get away early and breakfast starts a bit late to accommodate them. Not much parking available so don't be late arriving.

Great location. The staff was very nice. The breakfast buffet was satisfying with fresh breads and a pot of coffee at the table. The croissants were excellent and I was really happy they had baked beans. The bed was comfortable and the room was basic, but was cozy. The bathroom was very clean with a nice shower. There is an elevator. It's the perfect place to spend the night in Limburg.

It would have been nice to have a hot water kettle in the room.

The hotel location is amazing by the river and around the corner from the historic city Centre. We had an extremely spacious room which was more like an apartment, comfortable and great for relaxation. The biggest surprise was the restaurant with amazing food made by a cook with passion. The starter / the diner / and the after's with some nice local wine were amazing. We will surely go back to eat there again next time.

This is a quality hotel from top to bottom. NIce staff. Great location on the edge of the Altstadt. On-site parking. Clean tasteful rooms. Great breakfast with high quality food and warm choices as well. Nice breakfast room. Nice value. Hotel has a lift. Just booked a return visit for the Christmas Markets.

I loved the location. Handy to reach (and park) by car. Riverview. Simple, but completely adequate room, value for money, excellent breakfast (buffet), and the TWINS restaurant was an absolute, totally surprising, delight. We had a cozy, artistic, exclusive dinner. Absolutely over the moon. The last time I stayed overnight in Limburg an der Lahn was december 1968! In Hotel ZUR ALTEN POST. (no longer exists). Now I found a new "Herberg".

I would put the early morning music during breakfast at Twins down by two notches.

Room was very clean, beds very comfortable, bathroom spacious and spotless clean. Parking available in the back of the hotel. Staff very friendly, attentive and professional. Breakfast was amazing, hot and cold options, plenty of options. The old centre really, really nice to visit. We will definitely be back.
