Delicious food at both dinner and the included breakfast (full English or menu options) and a wide variety of local beer and wonderful wine selection. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. It was great to have onsite parking available as we discovered this is not the norm. The room was clean and functional as well as was the ensuite bathroom.

While functional, the room was small with little space for luggage and exiting the building was unique in that we needed to cross the roof if leaving before 8:30 am or after 10 PM as the alarm was set between those hours.

Beautifully decorated room, really comfy bed & nice big bathroom, nice to have the option of having a bath too. All the usual extras of tea, coffee in room with an added bonus of a coffee pod machine. We had a lovely evening meal, choosing a few starters rather than a main meal, all of which were perfectly cooked. Restaurant staff were all friendly & helpful. Breakfast was a bit wasted on us as we were so full from the evening meal still but what we did eat was well cooked & very tasty. Absolutely nothing negative to say about the Farmers Arms or the staff. We would highly recommend & will most definitely visit again.

Lovely room, comfortable bed, very clean. Very dog friendly accommodation. Restaurant very busy with local people. Good food, large portions. Good breakfast. Car park opposite pub not restricted by private parking company.

No heating on in room. Instructions suggested using the radiator thermostats, but that made no difference. Could use electric radiator, but we didn’t need that overnight, so cold bathroom in the morning.

It’s easier to say we didn’t have any issues, we had an evening meal cow pie , quality and size brilliant, breakfast was excellent and couldn’t do to much for you, we even booked the Sunday carvery which was lovely and again a silly size my eyes bigger than my belly, and great room with brilliant tv channels, so so friendly we will definitely return again

Thinking hard but nothing comes to mind,

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room had been nicely refurbished so was clean and comfortable. Food was generous and good value. Concerns about noise were generally unfounded.

We looked out onto the fire escape, so people walked past from time to time. The location is on a busy road which was quite a walk back to the coast - this is not the "fault" of the Farmer's Arms, but the 3km each way is quite a trek for those walking the coastal path.

Friendly staff, good service and spacious room. Plenty of parking. There was a range of cereals for breakfast and the vegetarian full English breakfast was perfectly cooked.

Nothing not to like - staying in a pub meant we had everything to hand. There was some noise from outside guests, but it was to be expected and didn't go on much past 11pm, so no problem.

Everything!!! As soon as we walked in,the pub was packed, so I knew i made a good choice! Staff was so friendly from the off, showed us to our room straight away, explained everything to us about the restaurant and timings for both evening meal and breakfast. (Which we didn't have as we we're booked in to go Go Karting) after a little snooze amd a quick shower we headed off downstairs where they quickly found us a table in the restaurant, we hadn't booked, and was seen to straight away by a lovely, very polite and very tall young man! We ordered our food and considering how busy the place was, didn't have to wait long for our starters to arrive. Not long after our mains arrived and wow!!!! The food was absolutely beautifully presented, hot and very very nice!!!! Huge portions..should've left out the starters, but non the less my son said it was 1 of the best burgers he's had in a long time, my partners enjoyed his fish and chips and my steak was just beautiful. We then headed off to the bar where the locals said we could join them at their table as it was still busy. After a few glasses of wine we then headed upstairs to relax and watch a film before bed. Check out easy and simple too. Would definitely stay there again, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!! Thankyou!!!

Nothing!!!!!

When we arrived it was the busiest pub i had seen i a long time. The welcome was cheery and our room was lovely. The food was superb, make sure you book a table it is very busy. Really enjoyed our night at the Farmers Arms. Highly recommend it.

Can't say anything negative about our stay, except as the pub is so busy you may get some noise transference until early evening.

Clean room, polite, friendly staff. Good breakfast, good sized portions. We also ate lunch in the bar and enjoyed the Wednesday night carvery, which had some great, tender beef, very tasty! All portions were sizeable! Location is central for Padstow, Harlyn Bay and the seven bays. Fine for us for a four day break. Thankyou all! Generous top ups of tea, coffee and milk in room.

A chair to sit in in our room would have been great, but I realise that this would be at the expense of a cupboard!

This was the perfect Cornish stay! A truly traditional pub, we loved it. The staff were so lovely & helpful! The room was beautifully decorated and modern, didn't expect a bath so that was a treat. The bed was so cosy and comfy, had a great night sleep. Breakfast was delicious. Excellent value for money!

We didn't realise music would be playing quite so loudly from the pub which could be heard very clearly in the rooms and was a bit disturbing but ended promptly at midnight.
