Had an a meal from the day menu ( pork loin) It was superb, Breakfast was very good. The room clean and comfortable with a good hospitality tray. Good selection of drinks from the bar.

The room No39 was bitter cold when we first entered at about 15:30. So cold we could not stay in the room. We returned to the room at about 22:15 and it was still freezing cold. It remained cold all night and we were glad to get out of there next morning. The breakfast buffet was very good but to only have scrambled egg available and not fried or poached was a great let down. As was no porridge. We returned to the hotel at 21:30, the bar was still open but the hot drinks machine was already switched off. The freezing room and lack of porridge also no hot drinks available so early in the evening on these winter mornings and evenings was not a good advert for Blancos

The food was outstanding. The Staff in the Restaurant both breakfast and dinner were very friendly and chatty. What I also liked was you are provided with more than enough tea and coffee in the room. The rooms are spacious and immaculate.

Have stayed here a number of times and always enjoyed it. The service at the bar and in the restaurant (including breakfast) was excellent, friendly with a smile and conversation but the girls on Reception struggled to lift their heads up to acknowledge my arrival, any questions and departure. That was disappointing.

Perfect location for proximity to the hospital we were visiting. Very efficient and friendly staff. Cleanliness and comfort of the room was exceptional. Very good breakfast served from 7am to 10 am. Great free parking on site. Overall exceptional at a very acceptable price.

Nothing that was any fault of the hotel but we couldnt get any food as we arrived at 5pm on Sunday evening. The hotel was empty , only us two in the bar so no atmosphere. The bar prices were a little expensive. Overall no complaints .

Sorry I have answered these back to front, this one should be below! Breakfast - I am coeliac and on a couple of occasions there was no gf bread. Fresh fruit more often would have been nice and a mug and not just a tea cup would be lovely, in the rooms as well. Our cleaner was absolutely lovely. Twice I was going to have chilli but there was no rice and there was no salad dressing. Dinner finishing a little later would have been appreciated.

What we did like! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was always cleaned and by a lovely cleaner. The bar/restaurant area was always clean and was comfortable. Bar staff always lovely too.

I went for a wedding, which was absolutely fabulous,. The way it was all organised etc. The venue, food the whole day was brilliant. The hotel room was comfortable & really clean.

The breakfast times was far too early finishing, which was 9am. After being in a wedding, all day & evening the day before, was too early, could at least be 10am. We weren't told about it when we collected our room key, but was apparantely written in the smallest of writing on the key holder, but we didn't have our key until after the wedding meal & a few drinks later!! We were really looking forward to a good breakfast as well. But other than that we had a brilliant time.

Room in general was large and very clean lovely view and everything was almost perfect

I had informed the hotel that I was dairy intolerant but there was no soya milk in room and when it was brought on the first day it was fine but not replaced for second day as it had gone off so couldn’t have a hit drink. At breakfast there was no milk again and no soya spread for toast. There was only scrambled eggs which I can’t eat would have liked boiled for fried eggs.

Our room was a very nice large size. The bathroom was very clean and had a lovely simple-to-operate shower which gave a good hot flow throughout. The bed was super large and the breakfast had a good selection of options.

There was nothing the matter with the room - it's just that a rather talkative guest next door at 1 in the morning could have done being a bit quieter! We didn't see it necessary to do anything at the time.

Lolation 10 min walk from shopping mall and restaurants/takeways. Did not eat Sunday roas at the hotel cos wanted to try Thai food nearby. Wanna Thai is the place to go. Lots of diffeten stuff for just over £20 and Green Thai Curry was absolutely amazing. I do reccomend you go there. Unfortunately cleaning crew does not look after shower. We found a mould on it. All they need to do it's just brush it now and again. (room no. 30) See picture. Double bed had 2 single matresses which was a bit uncomfortable, but other than that all good. Brekfast was great for a hangover and you could have as much as you like. Bar is open 24/7 for residents.

Mentioned above On top of that wife found a blood stain on the sheet. Cleaning crew could do better than that. Dont have a picture unfortunately.

When you book a 'budget' hotel, you are always expecting to compromise. For this hotel, it delivered more than I expected. The check-in staff were attentive and located by booking within seconds. The bedroom was spotlessly clean and enormous in size with a large window for good ventilation. The bathroom looked somewhat 'aged' but it was clean and with plenty of fresh towels. I didn't use the restaurant but the printed menu looked good. The morning breakfast was basic. A small selection of cereals. 1 bowl of mixed fruit with a couple of yoghurts. The cooked section was small and with just one comment to the kitchen... "please do not put scrambled eggs over a lit heat to keep warm. You end up with a rubbery texture and water floating in the bottom of the tray. Stick to either poached or fried". Finally PLEASE get better toast machines! A wait of 11 (yes eleven) minutes for your bread to toast is FAR too long.

Better decor in the bathroom and light and fan that work. No information in the room as to hours for Breakfast or Dinner. No info on accessing wi-fi. No info on how to contact reception. Hotel phone didn't work. Needed to speak to reception so resorted to using my own mobile! One final piece of info that may influence your booking. The hotel operates regular 'live music' nights. The day that I departed it was holding a 'Tom Jones Tribute' event. I would therefore imagine it would have been a LOUD night with guests milling around until the small hours. So, if you want a peaceful location, may I suggest that you check before booking.

What a great hotel ! , We just needed a one night cheap stop over and was pleasantly surprised at Blancos. Rooms were clean and huge . Bathroom was also huge . Breakfast was included in the price and although was a little poor with selection ie no pastries just English fry up and a bowl of fruit salad with yoghurt , it was delicious . We ate at the restaurant on the evening and the food was lovely and well priced. The hotel was very busy with many guests , so obviously well known in the area and used a lot. Its in a great location .

We arrived very late after an evening with friends , we basically were locked out of the hotel at 2.30am and it took a long time for the night staff to unlock the door and let us in. We were told the reception is manned 24 hrs and our late arrival would not be a problem yet we stood in the rain , banging the door , ringing the doorbell and phoning the number given on the door sign , getting slightly concerned we would not get in . We did see the funny side of it and it did not cause any issues with the rest of our stay.
