The location was excellent, as we were able to park in the forest service lot behind the Lodge and the AT brought us right out to that lot. We did have to drive to town, though, for dinner and shopping as there were not sidewalks to walk all the way to town safely. The grounds were very relaxing and I enjoyed the koi pond, feeding the fish and the meditation maze. The staff were exceptional, very friendly and helpful. The facilities were spotless. The breakfast was very nice and we especially enjoyed the homemade granola. We will be back when we are in the area.

This property is in an idyllic location, very clean, and comes with lots of amenities. The staff and volunteers associated with this place go above and beyond to ensure customers are well taken care of. I highly recommend this place, and I will definitely go back at the next opportunity.

The breakfast was a very good continental breakfast. The location was excellent; within walking distance of downtown Hot Springs.

I really liked how comfortable and historic the lodge felt. I felt very comfortable in all common areas of the lodge, including the dining room, library, sitting room, gardens and communal fire pit by the hostel. Everything was exceptionally clean and well cared for, which I appreciated.

This place is magical! I had no idea when I booked how gorgeous it would be! Our room, The Cardinal, was beautifully decorated, super cozy and offered an amazing view! The weeping willow tree and swing out front were icing on the cake!! We will most definitely be back!

The breakfast was ok. I expected a little more from a bed and breakfast than you get at a chain hotel. Otherwise, everything was wonderful!

The lodge was perfectly situated close to town and the AT is directly behind the lodge. Their hostel is also on the property. Absolutely stunning views and gorgeous facilities.

The innkeeper put the wrong name on my after hours check in folder. He responded very quickly so it really wasn't an issue but he continued to profusely apologize and followed up with apology texts. It was very odd because it seemed like a non issue easily forgotten. The next day I wasn't greeted by him at all and complete ignored although he went out of his way to interrupt a conversation I was having with another guest to invite him to a bbq. He did not apologize for that. To sum up he seemed to have an issue with me although I didn't know him at all and was nothing but friendly and polite.

Beautifully landscaped, a wonderful relaxing Koi pond, a large fire pit area for meeting other guests and hikers, very peaceful and serene views of the mountains, very comfortable furniture and relaxing indoor living area spaces.

Location was fabulous and the property was comfortable with wonderful amenities. The room was very comfortable.

The room's are not very sound proof and there was a person in the room next to mine that snored very loudly all night long both nights I was there.

Was a lovely place, had so much outside sitting to set and view the mountains. The porch was Awesome!! You can unwind with no electronics, Tv just breath and calm your mind and soul.

There wasn't anything not to like ..Very special place.

I liked the location, view from room, cozy feel, liked the porch sitting at night, the open floors down stairs were nice, guests were friendly, kitchen open all night,

rooms were not soundproof,overpriced for what you got

The room was perfect. This was a 30th anniversary getaway for my husband and me. The accommodations were great. We walked downtown to all the restaurants and never moved our motorcycle.
