The room and bathroom were very clean, the shower was great. The staff was helpful.

The breakfast was fine, but perhaps our expectations were too high as the listing said exceptional breakfast. The biggest letdown was the coffee. They served the coffee in a french press, but there was no actual coffee in the bottom of the french press, it was just poured in from a drip coffee maker. It's not that we mind a drip coffee maker anyway but it seemed a little disingenuous to do that but more importantly the coffee was extremely weak.

The breakfast was excellent. The hotel was in a lovely location with well-tended gardens and a distant view of the sea - very peaceful.

There was no-one to greet us when we arrived, just a phone number to call, but we couldn't get our phones to work. Eventually a member of staff walked through the reception area, and said that mobile phones don't work well in that location. He checked us in, but guests who arrived after us couldn't find anyone to help them.

Beautiful property and what a wonderful, hardworking host. Will definitely be staying here again. Full Welsh Breakfast was also incredible and a lovely way to start the day.

Bar would have been nice BUT we knew that when we booked.

The location is great...situated in between Laugharne Castle and Pendine Sands...both are well worth a visit. It is well a run family business and nothing is too much trouble. Even though there was no bar or restaurant the breakfast makes up for that...it is amazing and fills you up for the day ahead. For convenience there were plates, cutlery and a microwave available in the lounge area so we were able to have a take away in the evening. They have lovely surroundings and it is very peaceful. This was our second visit and I'm sure there will be a third in the future.

Wish we could have stayed longer

Extremely comfortable rooms, very cosy property with beautiful fire places. The lounge was especially nice to chill in front of the fireplace with a few drinks. It made you feel you’re not restricted to your room only. Beautiful views from the property and a delicious breakfast. Very easy check in process. We booked a dog friendly room which had access to the grass area via doors directly from the room, ensuring you don’t have to walk through the b&b every time to take your dog out. They also facilitate you taking your dog to breakfast with you, by setting your breakfast up in the lounge area. Highly recommend the place. Wish we had stayed longer.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, showing us where we could store our bikes overnight and offering us a choice of rooms. Having a microwave, plates and cutlery available was very useful - knowing that there was no evening restaurant on site and that we would not want to walk / cycle down to the town after a long day, we brought food with us and enjoyed a hot ready meal. The breakfast next morning was good - I enjoyed the option to try a cockle and laver hash brown!

A long way into Laugharne, but we knew this when we booked and it was not a problem.

Our host Debbie was incredibly friendly and couldn't have been more accommodating. The breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. We were made to feel extremely comfortable for the duration of our stay. The rain shower was also very refreshing. Thank you for your hospitality.

Some furniture was slightly squeaky and the mini fridge tipped a little (with the glasses resting on top) which nearly resulted in a broken wine glass. Otherwise, no complaints.

The owner made us feel very welcome the room we had was very spacious with a comfy bed and excellent ensuite facilities. Breakfast was excellent. It’s a shame that no other meals were available we drove to Laugharn for evening meals as we were obviously out all day

My only minus was that there were no blinds in the bathroom I didn’t feel comfortable showering in the dark incase someone was outside on the hill!!!

Easy to find ,close to other places to drive to good food I am a vegan and had to ask them to get non dairy spread in for me ,which they did ,no problems after that ,fast service with the waitresses, good tasty breakfast

Took our dog ,were told that we could not take her in to the dining room with us for breakfast, it was raining the following morning ,we were allowed in with her if she was well behaved!!! You get charged ten pounds per day for a dog ,so there should be no problems to eat inside together

Breakfast was lovely with a good choice available. The room was spacious and clean and a nice view out of the window. We stayed for a wedding in the nearby village of St Clears and it was an ideal place for this. Very short drive into Laugharne which was a nice place to visit, would highly recommend Dexter's restaurant at Browns Hotel. The staff at Broadway House were great and easy to communicate with throughout.
