Liked everything! This is great choice for Polignano a Mare. It’s right in the center of things, and the staff, particularly Emio, is fantastic. They are very responsive and will help with anything. They readily offer golf cart service from the nearby private parking lot for you and your luggage. We had the two-bedroom, two-bath apartment with private terrace – very comfortable, everything worked well. (A couple of staircases involved, if that is an issue for you.) Breakfasts were a delight. There’s no Rick Steves for Puglia, but Emio is extremely helpful with tips for the local area (transportation, parking, restaurants, activities, sites) as well as for other towns you may be going to next. Can’t think of anything that could be improved.

The property is in an excellent location with plenty of restaurants and shops. At first we were a bit disappointed that we were not in the main building however, we were just a 2 minute walk from the property, after all, it was in a great location quite and not on the beaten path! Emio and the team were fantastic hosts, they were thoughtful and hospitable. The team went over and beyond ( I asked for blueberries, and the next day they were on the buffet table)to ensure we had a breakfast that we would enjoy. The buffet was full of delicious fresh fruit, an assortment of breads, cheese, and pastries. Also, the room was cleaned daily with fresh large bath towels and sheets.

The apartments are in perfect location to be in the middle of everything in Polignano, our hotel suite had a beautiful view of the sea, very high so you could see all around and watch people swim in the sea below while enjoying a wine on the balcony. The king suite is stunning! Emio the host was constantly available to talk to with any questions recommendations and absolutely anything you could help with, couldn’t believe the level when arriving to leave. He Works very hard Make sure you have the perfect stay.. Above and beyond of anywhere else we have ever been.

Staying at Antico Mondo was an absolute pleasure. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that we had chosen the perfect place. The hotel is immaculately clean and ideally located right in the center of town, offering easy access to everything we wanted to explore. Our room was not only beautiful but also featured a very comfortable bed and a gorgeous view. It truly felt like a home away from home. We were warmly greeted by Emio, whose huge smile and genuine hospitality made my wife and I feel like family. He went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was perfect, attending to every need and answering every question with enthusiasm. Emio’s energy and passion for accommodating guests are palpable, and they made our experience all the more special. Each morning, we looked forward to the amazing authentic Puglian breakfast, which was a delightful start to our day. The fresh bread, pastries, meats, and little sandwiches were a true taste of the region. Breakfast at the hotel was more than just a meal; it was an experience we eagerly anticipated. Checking out of this hotel was a sad day for us, as we were thoroughly impressed by every aspect of our stay and did not want to leave. I also have to mention Giuseppe, who was incredibly friendly and kind. His recommendations were spot-on, and he always ensured that our days were nothing short of perfect. We can't wait to return and visit Antico Mondo again. It was truly a remarkable experience

I liked the decoration and the size of the room, which is big enough so I could feel at ease, the nice terrasse overlooking the walking bridge as well as the main area of Polignano a mare (though the room is very quiet when windows are closed), certainly less boring than a view on the sea. But I mostly liked the welcoming attitude of the owners of the hotel. They were very helpful at every steps of my stay, advising me for the visits in the surrounding and how to get there, advising and making booking for the activities and restaurants I choosed to go to. Everything to make the guests feel they are very special. Last but not least, the price compared to the quality pf the stay is very reasonable. Polignano a Mare is a nice base to visit the Puglias, and I will certainly choose this city AND this hotel when I will come back to visit this wonderful region more thoroughly. I know I will not make any mistake choosing it.

Antico Mondo is a perfect place to stay and in Pogliano a Mare. There could be no finer location, the room, perfectly placed in the old town, was luxurious and beautifully designed and the service was second to none. Guiseppe looked after us really well - charming and attentive and thoughtful. My husband and I decided pretty much at a moment’s notice to escape the British rain and are so glad we did! It was the perfect mini break: such a beautiful place, great value for money & warm seas to swim in right on the doorstep. A shout-out too to Mint - a stunning restaurant nestling in the old town, run by a great couple whose welcome and love of food shone through,

super glad we choose antico mondo b&b. from the very first contacts about ensuring we would have parking for our car with golf cart shuttle service too. the team at antico mondo helped ensure our stay was fantastic and provided us with a very large room with a balcony view of the beautiful Town bridge. the breakfast included a great assortment of items and the service was super friendly. we mentioned we were going to visit alborello and osunti and the staff proactively provided us with the best sites to see and where to park when we got there. I would highly recommend antico mondo suites to anyone who seeks great service , nice room and a fantastic location.

that our stay was too short

We’ve just stayed a week at Antico Mondo and absolutely loved it. Our room was stylish, comfortable, clean and in a great location close to the main square. Breakfast was freshly made, high quality and very tasty. But what really sets this hotel apart is the exceptional service from Emio and the staff. Emio gave us so much advice and help on everything - parking, places to visit, train timetables etc. All his restaurant recommendations were superb and he even booked some on our behalf. It really made a huge difference to our holiday.

Antico mondo .. how we love thee!! I struggle to write just how much we loved our time staying at this accommodation in Polignano a mare … booking was easy , initial interaction via email with our host was lovely and thoughtful .. as we built a rapport with them we looked forward more and more to meeting our host . Antico mondo is family owned and run business and the service is personalised and amazing . As soon as we arrived and we met Emio we believe we have become friends for life !! Emio arranged restaurant reservations for us , drives and touring for us .. nothing was too much ! His knowledge of the area , guiding us in the right direction of what we might enjoy most .. was simply perfection .. or “ Fantastico !’ Even when my mum was sick and stayed in for the day they arrange to check on her , after a full day out , a bottle of local rose was arranged for our return .. Breakfast is available and all local Puglian treats that Emil and his family arrange .Cleanliness , Hygiene, professionalism, , complete hospitality at its best .. we felt like Famiglia !! And cannot wait to go back … Puglia , Polignano a Mare , Emio & Antico Mondo have stolen our hearts !

That our stay wasn’t long enough !

What’s not to like!? This was one of our best stays in all of Italy. The room was large, clean and comfortable and the location was right in the historical centre and close to everything by walking distance including the train station. Emio and his staff were nothing short of amazing. They were so helpful with anything we needed and from the moment we checked in, Emio sent us a list of everything we needed from tours, places to go, places to eat, etc for our entire stay. It honestly felt like a home stay that’s how connected we felt with the team at Antico Mondo. Highly recommended and would 100% stay here again on our next visit.
