Well the room rate in late April was 64.00 on booking.com and 10 for offsite parking which was great . However we travel all over with our little dog and if there is a pet fee it 5- 10 euros. We had asked but never received a response and at check in they demanded 20 euros. Ridiculous for a 64 room. It was a tourist scam, they didn’t tell us a price in advance of booking so they just screwed us at check in. We would strongly urge you to stay elsewhere as we heard others having issues at checkout regarding overpriced breakfast buffet. I haven’t encountered this problem in France before, It’s super common in Greece and Italy. Very disappointing, otherwise we would have probably visited again.

The room was way bigger than we expected with a walking wardrobe and a spacious bathroom. It also had a balcony where you could see the main square and the life below from the first floor. The staff were attentive and they dealt with all our requests promptly and effectively. We checked in very late at night and we had to call a number to get the access code. Once in, everything we needed was inside an envelope with our name on the reception desk. The check in was at 12pm which was great as we could go for a walk and return for our things. You can book a private parking space for £9 but there is plenty of free parking on the street. The village is very pretty and there are plenty of restaurants and shops at walking distance. You could use it as a base to explore the surrounding area and vineyards. Great value for money.

The reception was very helpful. We chose the hotel as it wasn't a chain, realising that that could mean there wasn't 24 hour reception on site. Because of traffic we realised we would arrive late. So we called. And the receptionist kindly gave us a code and prepared the key for us in an envelope. We had the studio for the five of us (myself and four kids). It was big and comfortable. Breakfast was nice too. Especially the fruit salad.

A fantastic hotel in a stunning building. We arrived late and managed to get access by calling the out of hours number despite language barriers. The room was huge, the bathroom was great with an awesome shower and the beds very comfy. Parking is available just over the road but it's first come first served. The hotel is on the edge of the town centre, which was a delight. We would happily stay again.

Access after hours was tricky due to the language barrier but we managed it.

I’ve already given stellar reviews because I stay frequently. My pic is from the bus stop from Pézenas to Meze and to Montpellier. So easy. Bus usually leaves on the hour to Montpellier except Sunday. It only costs two euros and has a place to store luggage underneath the bus. Gorgeous scenery. You can just buy your ticket on the bus. Takes you to the FLIX and tram stop. Sabines.

Old hotel but very comfortable, had everything we needed, great staff, light rooms, views and excellent location for strolling into the old town. Parking the only slight negative as it is not on site, quite a way, so needed to pay for public parking to run in and check in as there is no parking out the front. Then move the car later. But still recommend this hotel and I would definitely use it again.

Pretty building inside and out, and right in town. Good bathroom.

There were flies around at breakfast. It was probably just a one off but it is off putting. Also I was arriving late and they rang to say I'd have to let myself in. As a lone driver after a 7 hour trip, and with no guidance on where to park, I was a little scared wandering the streets of an unknown town and entering a dark hotel alone. Once in all was fine but I would have preferred the welcome I expected from a hotel with a reception area. Still a nice place though.

It is what most people prefer. Near everything: publc transport, parking,parking,restaurants . Center, tourist office, Excellent rooms, bar, breakfast, elevator, nice people, sitting corner.

Waterwaste warm water room. Breakfast could be better.

We loved our stay at this typically French hotel. The room was basic but clean and perfect for our stop over - I would have been happy to stay a second night which is unusual for me! The breakfast was excellent with a good selection of cured meats, cheeses, pastries - even the welcome boiled egg. Fresh orange juice from the orange squashing machine - so delicious. Really good coffee even! The public areas are really well furnished, giving an air of authentic French opulence of the era of its age. The location a few minutes walk from the historic the centre of the town is fantastic, as is the town itself. Traditionally French, but ancient, with a perfect balance of tradition and the buzz of a well loved, busy working town. Would go back in a flash.

The cleaning of the stairs and hallways. These were not so clean and we did see a dog, who was being dragged down the stairs by its owner, pee all the way down and then into the entrance lobby. There wasn't anyone else around to see this, but it looked as though the stain would simply merge in with the other stains. This was our only negative.

This place is a gem. All the charm of the 1950s with the style and decor of the 2020s. The room was huge, air conditioning worked, staff was extremely nice, free parking on the hill across the road. My special request was handled exceptionally well.

Wifi was really unusable after 8pm, fine at 6am, bring your own modem unless it was something really specific to my room. Free parking on the hill isn't well lit and very tight in places, hotel offers paid parking opposite the entrance. Bathroom a little overdue for a redecoration.
