Stayed here as a “halfway point” to another destination so we were only here to sleep and continue on our way. Great property. Clean, comfortable, quiet in room, all the expected amenities. Breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I have had. Really. Staff extremely helpful, kind and professional. Location was great for us in terms of being right off the freeway and close to a Costco for cheapest possible refueling before we hit the road again. We spent no time in Durham so can’t comment on location relative to sites or areas of the city. But for us it was perfect.

The hotel is very clean & comfortable. The staff are professional yet personable. Immaculate and Angel were extremely helpful upon check in. The wait staff and housekeepers are incredibly nice.

The breakfast (although good) is outrageously priced as are the entrees for dinner. The bartenders are not knowledgeable about routine cocktails, and the bar is consistently out of draft beers & could not offer an advertised special. The elevator is quite a distance from any parking areas (front, pool side or back).

We were greeted by the most delightful and professional staff member I have ever encounter while staying at a Hilton. I think her name was Adrienne. She welcomed by daughter and I like we were visiting friends. There was a noisy party going on behind her and when I asked if she was tired of the commotion she was professional and said she was glad they were having a good time. The elevator was also broken so she immediately called maintenance and made sure that we safely arrived to our room on the 6th floor. Adrienne from the Hilton Durham represents your company very, very well!

Breakfast was overpriced ate at the Cracker Barell next door and was a great breakfast for half the cost. Hilton could at least provide coffee 24/7 room supply limited , bottled water 3.00 Smaller at 1 or 2 dollars would be better.

Nice welcoming lobby, friendly staff, nice and clean. No foul odors in hotel, in the halls, or in the rooms. This alone was very nice for me.

I thought the breakfast bar could have been improved, however, the people working there were friendly and professional. Perhaps more individual yogurt selections, dry cereal choices, pastries and/or granola bars to choose would have been nice.

I didnt like the fact I couldn't get the room thermostat to go below 70. The room was stuffy and not cool enough for me. I also didn't like that room keeping kept knocking on my door before check out which was at 12. I was trying to get more rest before checking out and heading home and room keeping knocked on my door starting at 930 am every hr until I finally checked out at 11. Very annoying.

Upon arrival the registration staff was very friendly and attentive. They made us feel at home away from home. We also had interaction with Destin in maintenance. We returned to our room around 11pm and found our entry lights would not turn off. We called for maintenance and it was time for him to end his shift. He did not hesitate to take the call and was extremely courteous and passionate about making sure the issue was resolved before he left. As he was leaving, he noticed the door would not close nor open easily. He offered to fix it at that point, but we told him to go home to his family and it could be fixed while we were out the next day. When we returned from our outing for the day, the door had been repaired. We did not have to make another call to remind him. THANK YOU DESTIN!!!

The hotel rates were affordable. The room was spacious and the queen size beds were comfortable. The buffet breakfast was tops; the menu style breakfast was not, although the food quality was equal to the buffet food.

The location was ideal for connecting with most parts of the city. The lobby, rooms, and cafeteria were very clean. The facilities have a pleasant ambiance.

Everything was great, nothing to complain about. Rooms are nice, clean and comfortable, view is great, breakfast is really good.

The only thing that could be better is if they let you get yourself some coffee on breakfast without necessity to call a waiter. But it's not a big issue, because waiters are doing great job anyway.

The bed was very comfortable and pillows were great. Overall, the lobby and public areas were nice. Service was quick at the bar and restaurant.

The individual room could have been cleaner and there was a lot of noise from traffic. Even with the curtains fully closed, it was hard to sleep because of the sound.
