It’s steps away from the beach! The rooms have been updated and are very clean. The staff were super accommodating to us as we arrived well before check in due to our flights. They gave us a place to store our luggage and we were able to go hang out at the beach. The property is very quiet and has a great upper deck with seating to watch the ocean.

The beach chairs and beach towels that are listed in the description aren’t really available. There were 2 chairs that we found in their deck box that we used and it was ok- but those were the only 2 that functioned. It’s a bit of a drive to restaurants or stores.

Noticed several people (non motel guests) drive into the property while parking on the side which caused congestion in motel parking lot. Also saw non motel guests use the motels (guest only) outdoor showers. Watched as they literally walked across the street to off site condos. With that said, Parking can be a challenge. Did not want to leave at night for fear of not being able to get a parking spot! Would suggest the hotel put more signs warning non guests will be towed and/or providing car tags to display on dashboard to ensure motel only guests are parking there. Also never saw a hotel manager or front desk clerk, which was new to me. Not a problem for us, just an observation. Only saw housekeeping and had to ask for towels several times.

AOTB is right on an easily accessible, clean, beautiful, uncrowded beach; the location just doesn't get any better. It's a short drive to grocery shopping and restaurants and the surrounding area is beautiful, safe and quiet. Based on the negative reviews I read prior to my stay, I'd say the proprietor has since made a 200% improvement in all areas. I can't give it a "perfect 10" because the refrigerator was dirty and the only light over the beds is a single, glaring, overhead light with no lamps in the room; and the way the the rooms are facing, there is no privacy when the blinds are up leaving the overhead light as the only lighting option in lieu of low-light or daylight. Otherwise the unit was attractive, clean, comfortable, and quiet, and checkin was pleasant and professional. I do recommend AOTB for the value and I would stay here again.

Put lamp(s) in the rooms; ensure the basic amenities are clean (refrigerator) and add privacy curtains to the window. Sheer curtains can be added to afford a measure of privacy when the blind is up during the day.

Our room was facing the beach and the little path down to the water. Can't beat the location! We loved that the motel is in a quiet area just north of the Air Force Base, so it's practically a private beach. If you choose to visit, it's all about that beach location and quiet vibe.

While we loved the beach proximity and quiet area, there really aren't many places to eat or drink within walking distance. Just be aware. Short drive to some great spots, though, so no real issues. We decided to Uber one night and it was a reasonable price to pay for access to some of the local places. Our room was tidy and small, with nice clean bedding and linens. Bathroom could have used a bit more of a clean, but it wasn't terrible.

The location is directly on the beach ! Updated motel very clean. Hard working family owners more than happy to help.Away from all the action and restaurants nice and quiet.Not one little bug !! Small surroundings of condos had very nice friendly people. This beach is very private because of the location. Awesome place to watch rocket launch from beach ! Sunsets and sunrise beautiful. 2x

No ice machine. Coke machine was out of order. They did have beach chairs available but were all broke and unable to use. We ended up going out and buying two. Just remember if you book the first floor you could have very noise people above you.(no fault of the motel.) With a little work it could be 100% comfortable. I will never use booking.com again. This motel is located around several abandoned buildings and motels.

We stayed in 117 a queen studio. We had a full kitchen. The room was immaculately clean and very comfortable. The bonus... not a stitch of carpet! The location was perfect, there were never more than a dozen people on the beach where the hotel was, and the beach was wonderful!

The second floor where we were was dark as night. It definitely needs some lighting on the inside of the walkway. It looks like it was lit up by solar path lights but none of them worked. I feel like some of the wood elements on the property could be sturdied up.

Everything! The location was absolutely perfect, We had a top ocean view room, and it was amazing to just look out the window and there was the ocean. The beach felt almost private! We had a gorgeous deck to enjoy right outside of our room where we enjoyed sitting and listening to the waves. The property also has a container of beach toys, umbrellas and chairs it was in the perfect location to make it easy for us to grab chairs before we headed down to enjoy the beach for the afternoon. The staff was incredibly friendly and made check in such a breeze not to mention they allowed us early check in and gave us suggestions on places to eat! Our 2 bedroom room with kitchenette was beyond clean even with sand everywhere! Plus we loved that they have rinse off stations once you come off the beach so you drag less sand everywhere! We would absolutely stay here again.

That we didn't have enough time! No member of our family had a single complaint!

Beach side. Windows, for cross breeze so no musty smell. Opening door to sand, sea and salt wind. Watching sunrise a few steps away on deck with table, benches and chairs. Could have been some higher chairs. When seated, top of rail blocked view of beach. Swing on beach was awesome in the moonlight.

Had to kill a big palmetto bug in room but we had the door open at all times we were in vicinity. It's Florida beach. They live here too. Window in bath was off rails and decrepit but did open and shut. Beach side window cleaning should be part of room clean up. It's a lovely view but salt spray obscure it.

We had originally read some negative comments about this location, but were pleasantly surprised that we could not confirm any of the problems we had read about. Our room was cleverly decorated in beach colors and pictures, we had shades and draperies on the window looking out to the parking lot. We were offered a complimentary water upon arrival and Sue personally showed us the beach equipment available to borrow and how to use the cable tv. You walk a short distance out the back and you are on the beach. There is an upper deck to use to watch the sunrise - just beautiful. The Publix is nearby and we bought premade sandwiches and put them in the mini fridge. Traffic at this end of Cocoa Beach was minimal. We were going on a cruise and the port is really close...maybe 9 miles away. We were totally pleased!

Maybe provide a broom and dustpan in the room to help with sand?

The location was perfect-the beach is unbelievable. They provide chairs and beach supplies which is so convenient. The outdoor seating areas were great and the views from upstairs were better than we could have hoped for. Check in was easy and they are great about communicating. We felt very safe here.
