Comfortable bed, great position on the river, lovely restaurant and wonderful food. Mostly very friendly staff who are keen to help

One woman working there was very unhelpful and negative on our arrival. (We needed unusual help due to circumstances). Other members of staff stepped in to help us and looked after us very well. Such a shame our first impressions were tainted.

Perfect place for a short or long holidays, border Switzerland- Germany so by walking you can visit both countries, they have own car park , very tasty and big portions meals , very nice beer at the bar

A kettle with small caps for tea and coffee in the room is missing. With this little staff our stay in this hotel would be perfect 😊

The hotel is situated next to the old town, free parking in front at night (until 9:00). Welcoming staff at reception and restaurant. Nice room with view on the river Rhine. In the morning, no need to wait for warm water to reach the shower.

The "main" light in the room was a bit noisy. Luckily the lamps on the bedside tables could be used instead. As it seems normal for Germany(?), the walls could be a bit more soundproof.

Our family overnight stay was very good, the food at the out door restaurant was excellent as was he breakfast the following morning in the hotel. Room was clean and comfortable and parking for our large vehicle was accommodated on site with a lock up for our bicycles. All together a pleasant experience.

No aspects of our stay were unacceptable and staff were helpful and pleasant. The only thing my girls didn't like is the carrying of their bags up the stairs as there was no lift.

Excellent location overlooking the Rhine. Very helpful staff who responded very quickly to a query I had about my stay once I had returned home.

Was told the restaurant was closed when checking in which was slightly annoying because having somewhere to eat on the premises is my main criteria when booking accommodation .

The view to the river was great and the hotel is located in a very calm place.

It would be fantastic if the hotel's equipment could be upgraded. Although everything was clean, the equipment was somewhat outdated.

The hotel is a little dated but the staff who are very kind and the restaurant with the terrace compensates for everything. Terrace on the banks of the Rhine with delicious dishes and good beer! What more could you want?

a restaurant staff member next to the hotel was rude to us for 2 days in a row because we arrived 15 minutes before the check-in hour. But I guess the hotel can't control that.

Nice location by the river, rather small but comfy. Bed and pillows were excellent! Easy access by car.

Room was little-bit too hot, even with 2 fans provided by hotel but it was very hot day… so really nothing to complain!

Ask for room 12, it's huge. Shower was good but a little awkward getting in. Had dinner overlooking the river in their beer garden. Very good Greek menu. Secure garage for our bikes. Directly on the EV15 (EV6)
