We spent a very pleasant night at this B&B. L'Auvraire is located in a tranquil rural area, and surrounded by lush gardens, and the house itself retains a traditional countryside style, but the interior is comfortable and modern. The room is spacious and clean, with a cozy layout. Madeleine, the onwer of this B&B is a very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was carefully prepared using fresh ingredients, with bread, fresh fruits, various cheeses and hams, and homemade jams and honey. Overall, L'Auvraire B&B left a deep impression on me. From the comfortable accommodation and warm host service to the delicious breakfast, every detail reflects the owner's care and professionalism. I would not hesitate to recommend this B&B to my friends and family and look forward to staying here again in the future.

We arrived on our motorbike cold from our travels and were warmly greeted by the lovely Madeleine who welcomed us into her beautiful home. The wood burner was roaring and the kettle was on. Our bike was safely parked up in her barn and we settled into our beautiful room which had everything we could have hoped for. Our stay included evening meals which were absolutely delicious. We slept like logs and woke to a beautiful day and a lovely breakfast. A fantastic location to explore the local area and we will definitely be returning next year.

We all loved our stay at L’Auvraire B&B. We loved the beautiful, peaceful, countryside location, the welcome from the owner and the food! Particularly the generous meals we enjoyed in the evenings (a delicious veggie Thai red curry, beef, duck, pizza…). The owner is a fabulous host, she couldn’t do enough for us. We were able to relax in the living room and play with the animals. We felt so at home and would love to come back again!

We had a very lovey stay at Madeleines house, very homely and cosy house and sourroundings with friendly animals on the fields around the house. We especially appreaciated the dinner that Madeleine was able to provide for us as wells as the breakfast that was served. We also appreciated the fleksibility that Madeleine showed regarding our stay.

The place was lovely decorated, and it had a homely feel. Madeleine is a great host and wonderful cook. We had dinner and breakfast, and it was magnificent! The fireplace added charm. We also played with the dogs, cats, and horses. We wished the weather was better as we would have gone out and explored this peaceful area! We would love to come back soon.

We liked everything.

Everything was so enjoyable, the place, the environment, the extra care given by Madelène, the extraordinary home made food…. Dinners were dazzling and the best of all: home made jam and jelly with fruits from the garden at breakfast. Sleeping in quiet and comfy beddings…. in a nutshell: a dream come true. MERCI DU FOND DU COEUR!!!

At first it was a bit awkward because we're not used to the familiarity of a B&B but once we met the owner Madeleine everything just was fine ;-) We had super breakfasts and stayed there for diner twice and really enjoyed her cooking. Really lovely and extremely welcome. I would recommend to stay there for her delicious cooking skills :-) Beds were fine. A real quiet place to enjoy.

There was an issue with the warm water boiler (which later was solved)

This place was a convenient stop for us between Mont Saint Michel and the DDay attractions. We slept really well. The host Madelaine also made us a great breakfast in the morning. We paid extra for dinner as well and it was superb. You can order off her menu before you arrive.

Great location, away from the hustle and bustle, yet close to the city. The surroundings of the facility are absolutely stunning, The owner deserves a huge applause, very nice, tolerant and open to tourists. One can experience the amazing, warm atmosphere. Breakfast consists of various options, everyone will find something they like. We rate our stay very highly.

Madeleine is a Superhost. She gave us a warm welcome and was there for every single need we required. Breakfast was excellent and above all her homemade food was one of the best dinners my family have taken in France. Will definitely be back.
