This is my third visit to Santiago and 3rd stay at this hotel! The location is excellent for the purpose of my visit, as its located in a beautiful area of the city and in a walking distance to almost everything. The Plateau (where the hotel is located) is a very classic area of the city with beautiful buildings and streets. Very easy and safe to walk, and many food options at walking distance. The hotel service is excellent, from the General Manager to the Housekeeping ladies. All do their best for your comfort, and make sure you have what you need. They also provide airport shuttle (paid) at request, and the driver will be waiting at the airport with your name. If I return to Praia, no doubt will be there again.

Cant think of a particular thing I didn't like at this hotel.

I liked the location of the hotel across from Albuquerque park, which had a reasonably priced restaurant with good food. The main bus station on Praia plateau was a short 4 block walk away so I could easily take a public bus to the other plateaus that make up Praia City. All the main government buildings, main pedestrian street were nearby. Since the hotel was at the edge of the plateau, the views looking down into the valley were pretty. I liked that there were nearby steps so you could walk down the 8 “floors” of steps to the valley below to visit the large Sucupira market, where you can also catch minibuses to further parts of the island. The room was bigger than I expected and a great value for the money. The hotel staff was so friendly and knowledgeable.

At breakfast, I wish the chef had been willing to make more than one omelette for me. Otherwise, the breakfast was nothing special.

Great location in the heart of Praia, very clean room with a comfortable bed, big balcony with a stunning view, friendly and helpful staff at the reception.

The shower cabin was relatively small, the breakfast was good but very basic, the staff in the restaurant was very reserved and seemed lazy (they did not ask customers if they need anything hot).

We spent 1 night here after our 2 weeks Cabo Verde trip before we flew back home and we just needed a comfortable, air-conditioned room to relax. This hotel is perfect for it: clean and big room, with comfortable bed and with a super-nice staff. We also liked the breakfast and the view from our room. Absolutely recommended

The place is very clean. The location is as good as you can get. I was really pleased that I was able to shut out every bit of sunlight coming into the room, which made it much easier to sleep at night.

The one minor issue I encountered was resolved peacefully.

Not the cheapest but very good location, big rooms, nice balcony. Breakfast not great but OK. Close to ferry and airport. I used this hotel as my Praia base traveling Brava, Fogo, Maio.

Great value for money and great location on the Plateau. Would definitely recommend it, especially the room size is a plus compared to other locations of similar price.

The only downside was that the air conditioning initially did not work. However, this was immediately fixed by the staff upon reporting.
