Clean room, comfortable bed. Could have been the time of year and weather (January, really cold), so it was extremely quiet. I've stayed here several times over the last 5 or so years and it's always been a good place to stay.

My stay came after snow had fallen followed by extreme cold. The parking lot could have been cleared of snow because as cold as it was the parking lot was snow packed and icy. Might not have been as bad if the lot had been plowed better initially. The wind and cold probably contributed to that.

The staff was wonderful, and super friendly. The pool is small, but keeps warm and is very clean. The breakfast is awesome: oatmeal, coffee, juice, eggs, sausage, bagels, toast, cereal, muffins, yogurt, and an automatic pancake maker! The rooms come with single a serve coffee maker, microwave, and mini fridge. They’re pet friendly and a great deal for the price. We had a room for two for three nights and it only cost us a couple hundred dollars. They have a workout room with a Nordic track cycle and treadmill (as well as a set of weights). Comfortable and only a mile away from campus if you’ve got kids going to orientation.

The toilets are very loud when they flush. Otherwise, still wonderful.

location is great. my room was clean, neat and warm. the shower was as hot as you wanted it to be. the room (#308) door did not fit with gaps on bottom right starting at the door handle. guessing this is a security issue.

The front desk and lobby are beyond frigid. the secondary sliding door into the hotel is always open. when -14 degrees out, this is cruel. front desk clerk kind enough to give me his only floor heater to help. gave it back quickly.

the management was paying attention to details, the corners were clean, the filter was running/bubbling in the pool, the towels were hung decoratively in the bathroom, the sheets were fresh and stretched tightly, there was fresh fruit at the front desk and in the breakfast room, the staff were friendly….and the price was right

a tea bag in with the rooms complimentary coffee would have been nice! flowers in the outside planters would have been a nice touch! I was surprised by the deposit fee tacked onto my bill and feel like I’m at the mercy of management to have it returned

Clean quite great customer service

The heat should of been turned inso not so cold since you knew room was being rented it too 2 hours to finally have comfortable. After a hour and half we finally left and went to eat giving more time to heat

The check in and check out process was quick with the new system (definitely appreciate it). The front desk guy was super nice, the facilities were very clean, and the bed was so comfortable.

On the website when I went to book the room there were options for the room however I did not get the room I thought I booked. I booked a room for my 10th anniversary and wanted the heart shaped whirlpool tub like what was in the pictures on the website. We did not get the tub we thought we were getting. We ended up with a whirlpool tub just not the one I thought I had booked. I think the website needs to be updated and there needs to be an area where you can request certain accommodations.

Front desk staff, quite room and plenty of room all round. Staff making sure all breakfast items available.

No cups in room, or coffee maker but otherwise great stay. Homeless walking through area taking short cuts to park

When the desk clerk saw me walking with a cane, he offered to change our room to one that required less walking. The breakfast area was well decorated and provided a wider variety of hot foods than lesser motels offer.

There is nothing that Baymont can change, but Lawrence has a great deal of traffic channeling past the motel. Without a traffic signal to stop that flow, it may be more practical to exit the motel with a right turn and double back than to attempt a left turn.
