The staff was very friendly and the beach experience was great - gazebo, bar & beach - just lovely. The facilities and the restaurants on-site are also top notch - tasteful architecture/interior design and very clean. The signature drinks at the beach bar and the vegetarian menu at the Pietramare restaurant were some of our highlights. Further, they also serve a broad range of locally produced wines at reasonable rates. Overall - a really solid offering. It seems to be the only high-end boutique hotel in the area. A lot less touristy than the region around Tropea. Let's hope that they succeed. We'd love to return one day.

Hard to criticise, but since this is high-end: The breakfast selection could be improved. It feels a bit strange that someone has to serve you at the buffet and you can't just take what you like. Further, there could be more variability - e.g., a daily special. Most important point from our perspective: There should be more vegetarian options on the menu of the a la carte restaurant. The vegetarian offering of the Pietramare shows that they are aware and that they can do it. A closing remark: The resort seems to be of mixed use - some hotel rooms are next to regular apartments - due to limited soundproofing (probably hard to fix), we experienced quite some loud noises from our neighbours in the late evenings and early mornings - in my opinion not something the resort can solve.

The private beach side location and the beach bar for cocktails at sunset were a little bit of paradise. The hotel was always clean and staff were professional, friendly and helpful. It was great to have your own subbed allocated for your stay. We enjoyed the on-site Michelin * restaurant, Pietremare, where service was excellent and the food very good. The poolside restaurant was also good for lunch and dinner. We enjoyed the option of massages on site.

We would have liked a kettle in our room. We found the lighting in the room dark and would have liked some kind of bedside lighting; but just small personal preferences.

Beautiful place - superb large room with large sea view balcony. Beach is clean and the loungers etc plentiful and comfortable with fresh towels when needed. The food is excellent the Michelin Star well deserved. The pool side restaurant also excellent. Breakfast was very good. Staff are friendly and helpful. We loved every minute.

Only slight issues - breakfast was not explained and had to ask if cooked breakfast was included - it was. Only one bottle of water in room - not replaced despite a 4 night stay? There were paddle boards and canoe - we were not told if they were for our use ?

One night there was an event with external clients and thus the internal restaurant was jam-packed and the feeling of an exclusive resort was lost. A real pity. They shouldn’t do those or give advanced notice so guests can organize a night out or be prepared.

The staff was extremely helpful, nice and professional. The sun-beds were dedicated to each room (no need to rush to get a sun-bed). Rooms are large. It is a perfect place to relax (with no stress) and to eat amazingly well (in the star Michelin restaurant).

The neighbourhood is not with the same standard than the property.

design, location, nature, private beach, food, comfort… everything was excellent

we were just a little bit bothered because our flight was delayed and we came to the hotel just when the pool bistro was about to close and we didn’t eat the whole day and staff didn’t mind that. just told us that unfortunately kitchen is about to close and only option would be room service since nothing else is around that place… you need to take taxi to closest town but again everything would be close between 3-6pm. Apart from this everything was great and staff is kind.

Room was wonderful, very clean, staff were helpful and friendly, loved the food at both restaurants, the beach and private cabana- best part for me. Just what I needed to recharge my battery.

We had hoped to eat in the restaurant by the beach but were told it was closed for two more weeks on arrival and the only other option was to eat in their Michelin* restaurant which is fine for one or two nights but not for seven! We had to drive to the town a 15 minute drive away; this was disappointing and the only thing which let the hotel down.

The perfect place to relax and enjoy a quiet moment, place very clean and calm. Rooms are always clean, the receptionist are very good and friendly.

The staff could be more prepared, the food takes so much minutes to go to the table, also the breakfast could be more options.
