Beautiful and vibrant riad in the Kasbah. A calm, refreshing place you'll be happy to come back to while visiting Marrakech. It's a lovely building with pool in the court and an amazing terrace where having your breakfast, tea, or just for a relaxing break. The staff is just so caring and amazing you will soon feel like at home. We travelled with three kids and they loved coming back here after our strolls around the city, refresh in the pool and read or relax on one of the many sofas in the common area. The position is great, close to many attraction but outside the busy Medina, so perfect for us. When I asked the kids what they loved the most in Marrakech, the three mentioned the Riad as one of the things.

Breakfast was exceptional and Jamal was very helpful! He had a very calming energy and made us feel very welcome, he greeted us during our late evening arrival with tea and pastries. Communication was always prompt and easy. Our room was so spacious, clean, and we were very comfortable. While we were out during the day, our rooms were cleaned exceptionally when we returned. Hotel transfers both ways from the airport were easy to arrange, and Jamal even made us a light breakfast early in the morning on the day we left. It was such lovely stay!

There were so many things to like... As soon as we got there, we were greeted by one of the housekeepers and shown immediately to our room. The room was just as pictured, and the bathroom was amazing. It has a bath big enough to fit 4 people. The water was always hot, and towels were replaced daily. The staff were absolutely amazing, and I would like to mention Jamal, as he was the perfect host and helped us with locations where we wanted to go during the day. The other ladies who served us breakfast were also lovely and couldn't do enough for us. I would definitely recommend staying here, the location is right in the heart of the Old Town and there is loads to see, but if you want to walk further and go and see the sooks and New Town, it is only a 10 minute walk to the main square.

There is nothing not to like, this place is fabulous.

We particularly appreciated Jamal's help and kindness throughout our stay. The dinner was exceptionnally tasty. The cleaningliness was to the highest standard. Location is great and very convenient, close to the Medina and Souk and allowing for the taxi to stop in front of the hotel, which may not always happen as some streets are car-free. The hotel's staff was also extremely helpful with the organisation of excursions.

It happened, although not often, that warm water run out in the evening.

All the staff were amazing - the people who cleaned the room, the people who served food, and Ibrahim, who was so lovely to our children. It was a very warm atmosphere, and it felt very safe, happy and comfortable. The breakfasts on the roof terrace were great. We ate one evening at the riad and the food was very good, though the portions were immense!! I thought the food was very reasonably priced. The location is brilliant. We walked and walked round the city, and it’s a great starting point for visiting all the main sights. But it’s also set slightly back from the main areas, so it felt like returning to an oasis of calm. I’ll also add we arrived slightly disorientated and quite early - hours before check-in - but we were shown our rooms, still being cleaned, to check we were happy, allowed to leave our bags, and treated to mint tea and biscuits, with such welcome.

This was part of the deal - it’s a riad in an old part of town: the building is a little noisy, whether it’s gurgling pipes or just the doors which aren’t insulated against sound, as is the building style. This means you’re a bit dependent on other guests being considerate - which mostly they really were. This, to me, was all part of the experience but I guess it might not be for everyone. However, I slept so well as it was just so comfortable! The wooden shutters completely blocked out the light, and the style of the building means it’s a lovely temperature.

I would highly recommend this Riad to anyone travelling to Marrakech. Me and my wife stayed here for five nights and loved every part of our stay here. Oussama tended to our every need and was so nice and friendly going out of his way to make our stay pleasurable, and Hicham was also so nice and of great service. They both even gave us Arabic lessons to help us out a bit during our stay. I must comment also that the meals are excellent here. In fact, much better than any restaurant we dined at. The breakfasts were full of tasty items and we greatly enjoyed spending leisure time on the balcony and pool area. The Riad is very conveniently located within walking distance to stores, restaurants, bars, and the major sights in Marrakech. I would highly recommend this Riad to anyone who visits Marrakech, even first time visitors. The Riad also arranges tours for guests. We cannot wait to stay there again next time we are in Marrakech. We enjoyed everything about this Riad.

We visited the Riad towards the end of October and the weather outside was not perfect but the Riad was good. It wasn't easy not to jump in the swimming pool even though it was cloudy. The staff was good, we didn't have any problems. The rooms were big. One of the rooms had a huge bath, you will see it in the pictures.

There is space for a car or two to be parked very close to the Riad but some locals believe it's theirs and tried to charge me money for using the spot. This has nothing to do with the Riad, this is happening all over Morocco.

From the first moment we felt at home in this beautiful Riad! The staff is very cordial and especially Ibrahim does everything to make it an unforgettable stay! The rooms are beautifully decorated and on the roof terrace you can enjoy a meal while the evening falls and the beautifully colored sky becomes visible. The breakfast is delicious and varied, the location is great, close to the medina and other sights. We had dinner in the Riad, which I can recommend to everyone, delicious….I can say a lot more but don’t hesitate to experience it for yourself!

Ibrahim! If everyone would have a little bit of his personality, the world would be a very happy place! He is a truly magnificent person and makes you feel at home right away. He speaks many languages, is always happy to help and lovely to chat with. The riad would not be the same without him. The location of the riad is perfect. We would absolutely not like to stay in the medina; too crowdy, chaotic and smelly. Kasbah however, is a nice neighbourhood; less touristy and more authentic, and at perfect walking distance to all hotspots. The riad is easy to find, right by the Rue de La Kasbah. There are taxis and little shops just around the corner. Tour companies can pick you up by the Saadi tombes. Our favourite restaurant Zeitoun Café is just a 3min walk from the Riad. Our favourite bakery (patisserie des princes) just 10min away. The decorations in the riad are very charming and the colours cheerful. The patio is cool and quiet. The pool was a little too cold yet in April but refreshing to dip your feet in at the end of a long day. The roof terrace is the best of all. Starting the day up there with a nice breakfast and twittering birds is just fantastic. The bed and pillows are very good. Owner Oussama, the cleaning/kitchen ladies and Ibrahim of course, are always welcoming with a smile and a cup of mint tea. They printed our boarding passes and organised a taxi in the middle of the night to catch our flight. We felt safe and relaxed in Riad Reve d’Antan!

We think that there are some details that can be improved for an even better experience at this riad. The authentic wooden doors from the room to the patio look great but leave some chinks open, hence the feeling of little privacy. All sounds, from other guests or the mosques for example, can be heard inside the room. The toilet seat may get renewed. Some lamps need fixing. We had to close the bathroom door to the bedroom and leave its window open because of the smells.

This riad is well located for accessing many of the tourist sites and the main square is within walking distance, The staff were super helpful and quickly arranged an alternative room for me as the shower in my original room was faulty. They were also able to offer local advice and help with various small issues that arise when travelling in a foreign country.

The plumbing in the property is a slightly suspect, but this might be a common problem in the medina. The standard breakfast in many riads is a selection of breads/pastries with jam, juice and coffee. It's fine if you like a stodgy breakfast but I'm surprised that they don't offer healthier options in a country with so much locally grown fruit.
