Breakfast was absolutely lovely. They accommodated all of our allergies and bought us special milk and bread. They helped us get all of our bags to our room up flights of stairs and recommended to us with a private wine tour service that was lovely. They also left flowers and bubbly for us as in the room. Location was fabulous to get to restaurants in town and wineries.
The only bummer was that the hotel did not have a generator so when the government load shedding happened, the hotel was not able to bring the power back on via generator.

Linden was absolutely incredible - he provided an exceptional service, and really did go above and beyond to assist me with any needs I had. The breakfast was delicious, and I loved the intimate small nature of the accommodation - everything was curated. The interior of the property is stunning, and I loved spending some time lounging around - which, I would never normally do in my accommodation when travelling.
The bed I stayed in felt a little short - I’m 5 ft 4 and my toes were creeping over the end of the bed. This might irritate a taller person, but it was fine for me. I also didn’t use the pool because it had quite a lot of smal leaves in it, so it didn’t look entirely enticing.

This boutique hotel exudes old times charm. A beautiful building, decorated elegantly with taste and attention to detail. Everyone working here is so nice and helpful (they even bought me an adaptor for my hairdryer!) Our room was spacious with an enormous bathroom with natural light - loved it! Breakfast - served in a beautiful room with fireplace - was excellent. There were buffet options and a variety of warm options that were prepared to your liking in the moment. The location, about 15 min on foot from the centre of Stellenbosch, is very convenient and provides peace and quiet. Stellenbosch itself is a lovely little town.

We had a wonderful stay at Stellenbosch Manor. The accomodation was beautifully presented and had a very warm/homely feel to it. We were able to park inside the gates which was great & the overall area/manor felt very safe. We had a large room out the back in the pool house, which felt private, with a beautiful bedroom/bathroom. The breakfast each morning was also excellent & the staff were very welcoming!
The location was a little out of town (not necessarily walking distance depending on what you're comfortable with) - but we found it easy to get around by driving or using uber!

We had a lovely stay at Stellenbosch Manor. All staff were super friendly and welcoming. Tashriq, in particular, was great. The breakfast was lovely and fresh, and Tashriq even set up a grab and go breakfast in our room for the day in which we had a very early flight. The rooms are very spacious and had all the amenities you need. The location was a short walk into town and staff were always on hand to give us their recommendations. We would highly recommend.
Our only issue was the soundproofing was not great so we could hear every movement upstairs and someone snoring! However, it is an old/ large house so it can be expected!

Friendly efficient staff. The house and grounds are superb. The bedroom size (No. 2) is extremely large and well appointed. Bed is a 10/10 for comfort. Bathroom is spacious. Breakfast is superb with a large selection. Mini bar fridge in room is well stocked.
The walls are very thin and we could hear the room above us creaking around on the floor boards. Once the staff start breakfast in the morning, Room 2 hears everything, and they started at 06h30 one morning. The toilet has been installed skew with a lot of messy silicone. Would be nice if they installed an electric fireplace. Plug point next the bed doesn't work. Bedside lamp shades are broken. Section of wooden floor is broken. TV is mounted skew on the wall. Walk-in dressing cupboards are scratched. These are all very little things, but at the price you are paying, one would expect perfection.

We loved our stay at Stellenbosch Manor! Everything about it was perfect. The rooms and overall decor were so beautifully done, the beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms were huge, and the outdoor space off of our room was great. The common areas were very comfortable and inviting as well - we loved sitting by the huge fireplace in the lobby area. The pool was very nice and had great seating. The breakfast was very good as well. Tashriq, one of the managers, was very helpful and accommodating. We felt extremely safe and loved the location - it was an easy walk to the shops and restaurants. It was an incredible value as well. I highly recommend staying at Stellenbosch Manor!
Everything was perfect!

Stellenbosch Manor is definitely a must stay. Beautiful place, stunning deco and well maintained. The accommodation catered for all our needs and we were impressed that they catered for halal and vegetarian as well. The staff Tashriq and Linden were very welcoming and so helpful and kind. If the location was a little closer to the centre it would get a 10 score. Our room #2 was spacious and we had a cute balcony. It was a relaxing stay and we would love to go back.

Loved the staff who were friendly and welcoming. Tashriq and Linden were very knowledgeable of the area and could not do enough for you. Indeed all the staff where friendly and welcoming. Lovely room full of character and you were made to feel at home.
The pool area is quite small and there is limited space for pool loungers and seating.

A beautifully restored hotel!!! Greeted by Tashriq upon arrival, easy and quick check-in process and assisted with luggage to second floor.(Thank goodness). My room was spacious with comfy bed and linen and a glorious bathroom. An added convience of having snacks and beverages available in the mini bar. The complimentary breakfast included a variety of cold and hot options which was matched with great service. If you are visiting in the winter months, take advantage of the cosy fireplaces!!!My absolute highlight. The true star of this place though was the level of service. Every offer of assistance was sincere and I was made to feel like I was at home. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area and looking forward to my return.
Creaky floorboards. Felt like I was waking up the entire floor by just crossing the room.
