This was our second visit to the Cottages, and this time we got to stay in the "Blue"Cottage. Winter is on its way but it was wonderful the Richard had turned on the heating prior to our arrival. As per our last visit we received a warm loaf of bread on arrival for breakfast or to snack on with the great assortment of cheese etc from the fridge. Breakfast is provided and there were lots of bacon, eggs and toast for our two day stay. The bed and pillows are comfortable and if you want you can even have a fire to keep you warm. Thank you Pat and Richard for another wonderful stay. PS: The wines and nibbles that are provided if you want them are reasonably well priced.

What we didn't like was that we could not stay longer :) We have recommended the Cottages to a number of friends and my Sister as the perfect place to stay.

What a wonderful way to relax and enjoy your bush surroundings. The cabin was just the right size with everything catered for from the great breakfast supplies to the greeting from Richard with a warm loaf of crusty bread. The property is set in the best place to see the river as well as the local bird life. The cabin was very well kept, clean and nice decor. Undercover parking for your car. We just wish that our stay could have been longer. Richard was very helpful in suggesting places to visit as well. Thank you Pat and Richard.

If the cottage doesn't impress you then you are in the wrong place. :) Maybe a strong Wi-fi signal is needed.

A number of options for breakfast were included, plus a welcome cheese platter, which was a nice touch! The parking was great, there was a little verandah and the room was beautifully decorated, spacious and comfortable with a proper lounge and small dining table. The location was perfect - in a bush setting with a wetland on the other side of the street, birds in the trees, and a safe, quiet location. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit! Thanks heaps!

A pleasant cottage with large living area/bedroom, large bathroom with bath and a good shower. Good kitchen with a full range of cooking facilities. Bacon, eggs, bread etc provided, with good coffee. Excellent bed with quality linen. The area is quiet with beautiful surroundings, well treed, plenty of birds, great outlook from the large windows. Our host was charming - and gave us a great introduction to the place. We were there for one night, but this would be lovely place to stay for longer

A very minor point - the living room lights are pretty dull, brighter globes would be an improvement.

Very cosy cottage, great place to stay in Deni! The host greeted us on arrival and showed us around the cottage, he had arranged for complimentary port, a cheese platter and cooked breakfast ingredients, which made our stay even more comfortable! The cottage has everything you need for cooking, and the usual hotel comforts, such as bath robes, spa bath, iron... etc. The main house is also on a river and has a nice seating area for relaxing. Would highly recommend :)

Nothing! We loved it all.

It was tucked back of the road close to the river. Very quiet. Spacious and with only 2 cabins to hire onsite meant not a lot of traffic coming any going.

The only thing I had trouble with was the internet connection. Had to go outside for it to work properly. But this isn’t a negative for me. Just mentioning it just incase someone needs the internet they know before staying.

We were greeted on our arrival by the owner Richard, who showed us through our room and explained everything. Then his wife Pat arrived with a small platter followed by a plate of bacon and half a dozen eggs for our breakfast. Richard then delivered freshly cooked home baked bread. There was wood left on our porch for our wood fire each day. From the moment we arrived too the time we left, we felt very welcomed. This place is a hidden gem, highly recommended... So pieceful & relaxing

What wasn't there to like?! It's in a beautiful and secluded little area (that's still close to everything) with the river to your back and such beautiful cabins with everything you could need there. The entire ambience of the room was relaxing, comforting and romantic and the breakfast in the morning provided had me and my partner in heaven!!

We found it hard to connect to the free internet but it didn't hinder the experience at all.

Breakfast was lovely, fresh loaf of newly baked bread was soo nice, bacon and eggs fab. There were other choices like cereals if preferred. The location was beautiful very quaint. and it was within walking distance to local restaurants and pubs etc. This is where to book if you really want to "kick back and relax". However, there is plenty to do if that's what you prefer.

Can't think of anything. I liked everything, particularly the spa bath.

Cottages on Edward was located in a very quiet area which we loved. Richard and Pat (hosts) were very accommodating. The views and the gardens were wonderful. The property is kept in pristine conditions and we will always stay here. An absolute find!!!!
