I don't often take the trouble to post reviews, but the staff really deserve a positive review. They managed to pull off the perfect balance between casual and professional, between friendly and courtesy. From the reception desk to the porters. While I'm at it: very comfortable, large bed, spacious room, big bathroom. All very nice.

excellent 👌 we arrived in the very early morning (0800) because we were driving all night. the normal check in times are at 15.00 and we were told we could check in at about 1400. for now we could enjoy breakfast which cost about 14 euros pp. its well worth it! breakfast consists of enough options and also some which are made a la carte. the quality of the food is very good, the pastries are selfmade, and lots of very high quality ingredients seem to be used because you can taste how well its done. its not just because the quality of the breakfast that you should enjoy it. the breakfast area is a very tranquil place and has some excellent views of lago Maggiore. well worth to simply enjoy it even if you arent a breakfast person. during breakfast we were told a room was ready and we could already check in (10.00). This room was a free upgrade to a higher level, just because of Italian hospitality. The people who run the hotel are not the owners but they seem to take great pride in running an excellent hotel. We asked multiple questions and they gave us good advice on possible things to do and/or how to get there with also multiple options. There is a parking area outside of the gate and also inside if you want extra security, both are free to use and are plenty big.

The couple that runs the relais were wonderful. They were friendly and spoke several languages. They provided great recommendations, wonderful simple food, and a warm welcome. They remained friendly and efficient even when things got busy. They are a classy pair. The accommodations were fabulous and the grounds quite lovely with a wonderful view of the lake. The surroundings were very quiet. They even had EV charging!

The location is beautiful you have to pay for the breakfast but it’s wonderful and parking is free the owners really know what they are doing and are quite gracious and offer a lot of help and advice and that location is beautiful the hotel is beautifully decorated with a great view

The absolutely stunning view to the Maggiore lake from our room. The great park in the property. The excellent hosts providing high level service. The breakfast is very tasty and rich. Close proximity to the local center with the main infrastructure and very interesting trips. Very relaxing atmosphere.

Perfect location for traveller who prefer privacy and being outside the busy tourists towns (e.g. Stresa) while having luxury, good service, breakfast + dinner (bistro style). I have travelled with the car and had no problems to go to the location and back. the train station is 15 min (careful there is a small hill ;-) away by foot and takes you in 5 min to Stresa and in 1 hr to Milan (express train only). There is no disturbance by the train line. The location is perfect for privacy, as this location offers two villas with only a limited number of rooms managed by a family very professionally and personal. The service can match some first class hotels and the breakfast (you get a list, where you can select for the next day) is perfect. The view from the terase is romantic and displays a very nice scenery with Lago Maggiore. There is an impressive garden/parc which is part of the hotel. You can reach all relevant tourist sites, locations and islands from the location. Free parking (and 2 fast-charger) are available. The Jacuzzi is perferct for a romantic night with some wine/prosecco. The Dinner is good, the breakfast is perfect and there is a Nespresso coffee maschine on the room. I recommend this location for people who are looking for peace, privacy and good culinary and service experiences, while having a car or want to use this as a place to start hiking and exploring.

The cocktail glasses appear a little big, so a double shot is suggested if you want to really enjoy the great selection and mixing results of signature cocktails available. Also the virgin drinks are balanced and refreshing. The mosquito in the evening are a problem everywhere but thanks to our hosts and some tools we could relax and enjoy a great pizza, wine and the romantic scenery.

I'm a very analytical hotel researcher and reviewer, so I usually approach this review task with informational and - hopefully - objective bullet points. This approach will not work this time. This is a truly special place that exceeded my expectations in every way, and provided an incredible experience for my partner and I which we will likely never forget. From the stunning location - facing the lake a few km away from the more chaotic Stresa - to the sophistication and elegance of the venue - a beautiful relais nestled within historic nature and with beautiful views of the lake from every corner of the property. These two elements alone would have made the experience. Once you add a beautiful suite with a stunning terrace, breakfast with a view, and the owners delivering the best experience for their customers, you have what I can only call a 10/10 experience. Sad to hear that I am one of the few Italians visiting them (seems like their customer-base is 90%+ foreigners) - I wish for more of our people to give this place a shot, especially for a romantic or family outing. You will not be disappointed.

The view out of the window is exceptional - like in a fairytale. The garden and the flowers are extremely beautiful and the scent around the garden is like a natural light perfume which lets you calm down after a hectic week. The breakfast was delicious!

The rooms are old, therefore the furniture is very sensitive and sometimes it smells a bit.

The views of Lake Maggiore were spectacular from the room and balcony. Our room was a suite with a balcony and large bathroom with double sinks. Breakfast was buffet with savory (eggs/omelet) or sweet options included. The staff/owners were wonderful and took great care. We'll be back in warmer weather to enjoy the pool and lakeside!!

We arrived to this amazing beautiful villa for 2 nights. The atmosphere is magical no less. A perfect place with great view to the lake and very quite. Simona and Alberto are amazing people - they will take care of all your needs - they work around the clock -just to keep everything clean and running and give you a real good sensation you actually own the Villa. I never understood when they sleep :-) There is a whatsapp and chat through the web site which is great and they give immidiate answers to all your questions. Also very convenient shuttle service. The breakfast - is a MUST- you wont regret it. We will definitely come back !!! And again a great thanks to Simona and Alberto Ohad and Ganit
