I really enjoyed my stay of 2 nights in this hotel in Wuppertal, and the facilities exceeded my expectations! As a woman solo traveller, I felt very safe and comfortable at all times. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The location couldn't be more central (5 minutes from Wuppertal main station by foot), yet a little removed from all the action, and very quiet. The breakfast was an exceptional experience, and well worth the price! There were plenty of choices, and had the feel of a comfy and modern kitchen, with self-service from the kitchen counters and drawers, and plenty of comfy room in the breakfast rooms, very roomy and comfortable - very modern, yet homely was the atmosphere in the entire hotel! Architecturally, it is also a very interesting example of modern urban architecture: the building is the previous main post office in Wuppertal, a large functional post-war building, which has been superbly repurposed and renovated to become this hotel. I think it could serve as an example what can be done with similar large buildings to meet the challenges and conveniences of current urban city spaces. It could be considered award-winning perhaps? What I also loved about my stay was how quiet it was everywhere. It was during the weekend, and one could hear some noise from a protest at the near-by main station on the Saturday afternoon, but that was the only disturbance, otherwise it was exceptionally quiet. A relaxing stay in the very comfortable room, with modern and spacious bathroom incorporated, with walk-in shower. I would definitely come again to stay on future visits, and can really recommend this hotel.

There was nothing that I didn't like!

The hotel was clean and very comfortable. The location was excellent, just a short walk from the train station and the main attraction in Wuppertal (aka the Schwebebahn). As an added bonus, the hotel provides a complimentary public transit pass valid for the entire duration of your stay in Wuppertal. The Schwebebahn is included, so no need to worry about tickets for that if you plan to ride it. And you should ride it if you're in Wuppertal.

Great location, spacious rooms, comfortable bed, clean.

No minibar in the room. The lobby was not an ideal spot for us 4 to sit due to the lack of tables. Although the breakfast space had plenty of seats/tables, we weren’t allowed to set there. The bar was closed so we asked the receptionist if we could buy some drinks elsewhere to drink in the lobby. She told us the location of the nearest supermarket. We bought some drinks and by the time we got back the bar was open. We were told by the bartender that we could not drink those drinks in the lobby. The bartender and receptionist become unfriendly against one another. Because the lack of a minibar in the room, the drinks we bought couldn’t kept cool.

Beautiful interior design, all new and good quality. Very nice and tasty breakfast (although pricey). Central location. Quiet room. Beautiful baby crib. Comfortable and big double bed. Nice bar with some dinner options in the lobby area. If you are too tired to go out to eat you can select something from the small but tasty menu (warm options too).

The parking right at the hotel is not available for some time already. It has been turned into a market square. Several parking houses are nearby and it is a bit difficult to identify the parking which the hotel offers for a better price. No special view from the room but then again the room was so nice that it did not become an issue for us at all. No minibar/fridge and no tea/coffee making facility in the room.

Really clean, comfortable room, we requested 2 rooms together and staff made sure we got them. Walking distance from station and restaurants. We will stay here again!

In our room, there was an internal window next to the bed that looked straight into the bathroom. (See photos) If you want privacy in the bathroom while showering, this is a bit unnerving. A curtain or blind could fix this issue.

Convenient for the main train station, schwebebahn and the main area for restaurants and bars.

The room safe was too small for laptops and iPad and the price was high (presumably because Euro 2024 was taking place in the area). The breakfast at Euro 18 per person seemed excessive but we did not try it so do not know if it represented value for money.

Lovely hotel, excellent value for money, very comfortable bed and Wuppertal a brilliant place to visit, I went for the monorail but there's also a great art gallery and concert hall.

It's a minor issue but the clear glass window to the bathroom would have been more of a problem if I hadn't been a solo traveller.

Staff is very friendly. The bar is cosy with small selection of food and drinks. The room was in very good shape, bathroom was newly made. There are small shops, tailor, hairdresser etc. around the corner.

There is a public parking where the hotel has agreement with. It requires some walking but not much, it is doable.

The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the location is good. The renovation is well-done and stylish. The room was quiet, despite the street right outside-- German windows.

I could have used a phone in the room, although I guess that's unnecessary with cell phones. I thought the breakfast was overpriced for what it was-- and most of it was gone by the time I got downstairs around 9:30.

Location is right in the city centre, and if you are lucky you can park on the square in front of the hotel (pay till 20:00 and from 08:00). Very friendly staff, during check in, breakfast and check out. Check out the breakfast it's really nice! Rooms are well appointed and very clean, bathroom, spacious and also very clean.

Perhaps a lower table in the room to work on is a bit better than a high table.
