The staff was very kind and attentive. The surroundings are very calm and relaxing. Sun hat and beach lounger included by showing hotel guest card with the room number. The hotel is literally on top of the beach and is small but with everything I needed, it is quiet. Free public parking. I think it is great for travelling alone (which I did), or as a couple, or even with kids. Even if the weather was a bit foggy I had the option to enjoy the SPA (jacuzzi, sauna, interior pool). Masseuse Ana is very good and kind. The hotel also has exterior pool. Other beaches accessible within a 10 minutes radius. Can go surfing very close by in Praia Azul for example (need to go by car but for that region having the car is the best option). I am coming back to this hotel for sure!

Clean and modern ocean facing hotel, rooms bright and fresh, also very spacious and comfortable. Ocean view from room is just stunning and hearing the the waves so close, it’s amazing. Great to have wooden floors in the rooms, instead of carpets which can make rooms very stuffy, nice shower with warm water and good pressures. Lovely walks on beach and into the surrounding hills also lovely and relaxing. If you want a getaway for some peace and tranquility, I recommend you stay at Promar Hotel. Hotel Staff are very helpful and friendly.

Would suggest having a kettle in the room for guests to make a cup of tea or coffee, it would be nice.

Location, little but nice spa, the room and its view. It's a great stay if you just want to relax on the beach or explore the cliffs a little bit. You can also jog a little bit along the river. But if you want to see more, you need a car!

I would have liked at least a boiler in the room as I cannot live without drinking hot tea. Breakfast could be better. The scrumbled eggs are not very well made and the bacon is not great. I liked the spa, but the hot tub needed a clean, as there was dirt on its edges. The food at the next door Pizzeria and Hamburgeria, also managed by the hotel, is mostly not good. Do not order the pizza, it is not worth the money.

The beach view is amazing, the room was a decent size and the bed really comfortable. Breakfast is served practically on the beach and is quite hearty. The spa/pool area is nice and comfy too.

The indoor pool had so much chlorine, I had breathing problems that night. I was told the chlorine regulation system was out of order or something, and that it's not usually like that, but it was seriously hazardous. Also, it would have been useful to know from the start during the booking process what is the wheelchair-adapted room, rather than book a normal one and then have to pay extra for the larger, adapted one. And finally, a wall-mounted shower chair would be really helpful.

Our room had an amazing view of the beach. It was clean and spacious. Staff were mostly very nice, only one woman at the reception did not smile. We ate at the restaurant which was a bit expensive but good food! The breakfast was really good with lots of options. Free parking was great. If you have an e-car, they apparently have a charger, but availability varies. The spa was very nice, with a big pool, a hot tub and different saunas. They apparently write it on the confirmation email, but you have to wear a bathing cap in the spa and rent towels (not allowed to bring the one from the room). Was approx. 10€ (for the purchase of the cap and rental of towel).

If you are travelling with a friend, just be aware that the shower is outside the bathroom and with transparant doors, so not a lot of privacy.

The beach location with very few tourists was tranquil. The inclusion of beach beds in the price of the hotel was a nice surprise. The bar was quiet and had board games and a pool table and a very helpful young bar man. Reception was friendly and helpful. The beach though small, was sandy and not overcrowded. Close proximity to other beaches was also a plus. We chose bed and breakfast option - breakfast was very good, overlooking the sea. Our room also had a Seaview. There is a very good seafood restaurant on site.

Most things were positive however, if I had to pick something, it would be the remoteness of the hotel. This suited us perfectly but if you are looking for a wide selection of restaurants or nightlife past 11pm, you will not find this at Promar

- beautiful views - large room - very clean - cheap bike rental, though older bikes - great location - the beach in front of the hotel wasn't very clean but 5 minutes by foot there's Praia Santa Rita and that one is absolutely beautiful

- breakfast not great - the same few things everyday, no vegetables but i appreciate soy milk - weird bathroom setup - huge bathroom with glass wall and the shower was separate, right next to the bed - very weak hairdryer

The property is very nice, but definitely can use more hooks in the room for towels, more shelves in the shower for products. The blow dryer was horrible I’m very weak. We We love the view, the location is very good and you have a full view of the ocean right at your disposal. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Yhe staff was very nice.  The air conditioner barely worked because it was weak, however, we understand that is an ecological resort. Is bright of what I have said, the value for your money was very good and with some little attention it could be way better.

The view was superb, the beach was great to have a final swim in the evenings, lifeguards on duty so you felt safe swimming. Sun loungers and umbrellas were available. The room was very clean and the decor was very fresh and bright. It was lovely to hear the ocean to fall asleep. Beautiful lobby. Great to have an outdoor pool and bar upstairs. The bathroom was good, loved the detail of a magnifying mirror.

Small things to make it perfect as it was great. The bathroom was lovely and new, it could have a few more shelves or something to put toiletries on and racks or hooks for wet towels. Loved the little wooden tables on the other balconies and would have liked one in our room. Also maybe some hooks on the balcony for wet towels and bathing suits. It would be good to have more vegetarian and vegan options in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner.
