You are RIGHT on the beach which is awesome, room was clean, and you get full size fridge and microwave. We chose partial ocean view. My friends were on a different side to me, and they definitely had the better partial view. I'd suggest you ask for the side opposite to the entry.

You are sandwiched between 2 pubs, so expect a little noise at night (the free ear plugs by the bed were a bit of a give away). While there we had 3 different staff on. The 2 guys were great but at check in, the lady seemed to have no idea what she was doing. It was a bit chaotic! She was friendly though so all is forgiven.

The location of Air Venice is perfect... on the beach and between Santa Monica and Muscle Beach, and all within walking distance. The room was amazing with a wonderful ocean view every morning. The flat was super clean and smelt nice, and the beds were so comfortable, the pillows were lovely. And a great shower and a large TV and also great WIFI. The staff were all brilliant and super friendly, someone was there all the time, always felt safe and looked after. And could always nip to the hotel shop to get a drink and a snack if we wanted it was a fantastic stay and would most definitely stay there again

The location is perfect and overall it was a good place to stay

The woman at check-in took a very long time (like genuinely about 45 minutes passed between me arriving and saying my name and me walking into my room) and seemed very incompetent, she told me I’d have to change rooms twice within my three (3) day stay because of a fault in their system but that she would try to fix it. However, this took ages and at that point I’d already been standing there half an hour. In the end I just went up to my room and thankfully the man who was working the next morning said I could stay in my original room but still all of this was very unnecessary

Perfect location, right on the beach, with easy walking access to restaurants and bars. Room was clean and tidy with everything we could need and the bed was great. Staff were friendly and helpful. After the trip when there were some issues with the security deposit the hotel also helped us reach out to our bank and get it sorted. So all in all, absolute top marks.

That we couldnt stay longer. As expected, it can get noisy at night because its right on the boardwalk and there are bars etc. We brought earplugs and we were fine :)

I enjoyed having everything walking distance. You have plenty of activities near by from renting electric scooter/bikes to Santa Monica Pier. They have lots of volleyball nets to catch a few games with family and friends. Play ground for the kiddos as well.

There was a bar next door that played music pretty late but I already knew that by looking at the reviews, I didn’t mind it at all.

To be honest, I was a bit concerned after reviewing the comments on this hotel! However, I was positively surprised overall. The staff is not the most enthusiastic I encountered but the check in and check out were super quick which is appreciable. Be careful $250 will be taken as a deposit.. Overall, the studio was nice, clean and with a nice view despite being on the second floor. The bathroom was modern. The size of the studio was quite nice as well, with enough space for the suitcases. For me the price for the quality is quite good even if it’s still expensive per night. If you want to spend 2 nights near the beach and enjoy, it’ll be perfect.

I’d have appreciated having a small kitchen with a sink for instance, and shower gel in the bathroom. The major issue was the noise coming from the bar downstairs. If you facing the other side or if you are not in bed before 11pm it should be fine, otherwise it’s a bit annoying. On top of that the window was not closing very well..

The hotel is right by the beach with good views. The room was a good size, and the bed was comfortable, soft but firm. Coffee machine and fridge were very useful. Bar opposite has many local beers and there are lots of places to eat on main street.

The bar across the road can be noisy but was always quiet after 9pm. The hotel issue ear plugs. The tv is on the small size.

The room was nice and the bed comfortable. The location was very good and there was a coffee machine (but no tea). There are also lifts and the reception was manned at all times. There was no housekeeping but you could ask for a change of towels. A safe was provided. There was a table and 2 chairs.

There were no glasses in the bathroom. No cupboards or drawers to put things in, but you could hang some clothes. The room is less luxurious than what is pictured on the website, but we had an economy studio.

Room thermostat was set to 85, when entered the room, the small fan in the room was insufficient to bring the temperature down, both windows do not stay open, I tossed and turned most of the night with very little sleep due to the temperature, in the morning when I took a shower, the water does not get hot, please check the backflow on your circulation pump, or adjust the temperature on the boiler itself outside of those issues I would probably return .

Great place with an amazing location. Had a midnight swim -- the hotel is literally next to Venice beach. Amazing views, next to some lively bars and restaurants.

Witnessed some crime in the Venice beach area. Though, this is not a problem of the hotel, but rather an LA crime problem, so it is not reflected in my rating/review. Be careful in the area after dark!
