Took a chance here as ratings are all over the place. What I found was that about half of the rooms have been completely renovated. It’s NOT clear online which are and which aren’t. They called to confirm my booking.com reservation, asked about pets and when I arrived had upgraded me to a new room. At this point I wasn’t ware that there were updated rooms and not updated rooms. You WANT a new room. Breakfast was pretty simple but good. Excellent location - walkable to restaurants and bars. Also on a trail but we got to talking to another couple at dinner and never took a walk. Super cute (partially) updated vintage motor lodge. Excellent value.

My husband said the pillows were too soft. (I travel with one so can’t comment personally)

The room was very comfortable with a king sized bed. There was also a chair and desk. It has a refrigerator and microwave. Because this is a one story motel we could park near the room so it was easy to load and unload our stuff. It is near everything. There is a nice back grassy area to sit outside. There is a nice paved foot path that goes by a creek for a nice mellow walk. There was a good continental breakfast. The office staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again.

Thought we were getting a room with a shower. Apparently we had to book a Signature room which has been updated. My husband was able to shower in the bathtub though. There is a hall with four rooms. Cars coming in and out were noisy. Fortunately it didn't last all night. It would have been good to get one of the rooms in the back to avoid that.

The room was splendidly updated as was the beautiful bathroom. Our room was in the back so it looked out over some trees. It had everything we needed, comfy bed, tables, closet, fridge, microwave, coffee machine. We thought it was going to be a continental breakfast but it was a cooked breakfast, usual hotel scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon along with hot cereal, bagels, etc. It hit the spot! Bothe front desk ladies, checkin and morning, were pleasant and helpful with suggestions about the close by restaurants and town in general.

As an old styled motor inn, perhaps a few more flowers around to brighten up the outside.

Front desk staff were very personable and helpful. Great recommendations for dinner. Location of the motel is good. It was very quiet, easy access and a nice walk to downtown stores and restaurants. Room was clean and comfortable with a nice tile shower. (We did stay in one of the remodeled rooms). We will more than likely stay here again if we make another overnight trip to Baker City. Breakfast included eggs, pancakes and bacon. Coffee, milk and juice as well as most things found at every "continental" breakfasts.

The toilet was installed pretty close to one wall and the toilet paper was mounted on the closest wall about toilet seat high mid seat back from the front of the toilet . You had to be a contortionist to get some paper off the roll if you were sitting on the toilet. I removed the roll and set it on the shelf below the sink to make it accessible during our stay.

Our first Bookings.com review of BSI was in 2018 and we have been staying there on our multiple trips back and forth to Washington. We have been there during the on and off season. We’ve always enjoyed the pleasant staff along with the clean and comfortable rooms. It’s been over a year since our last stay and the rooms are being updated. The overall decor and color scheme were very pleasant and provided a nice homey feeling. The main room and bathroom were tied together very nicely. The space use was perfect and efficient. The bed’s firmness and pillows were excellent and set up for a great sleep. It's the best deal in town.

They have a nice breakfast if you're trying to get on the road but there are a couple of restaurants with more variety. Overall it's very difficult, unless you're naturally super picky, to find something you don't like.

The breakfast was great! The cinnamon rolls were really good. The main breakfast was very good, and the special oatmeal was a real treat! Excellent.

The only thing I didn’t like were the flimsy plastic forks and spoons. Everything else was biodegradable, and then there were these plastic utensils. I would suggest switching to bamboo utensils. They’re biodegradable and much sturdier. I’m sure it would cost a bit more, but it would be worth it in my opinion. You’ve got everything else going well on the breakfast!

The queen suite was well-designed and spacious enough for 2 people. I like that the rooms are clean-able...no carpet to hold odors, and the beautifully redone bathrooms! Location is perfect, near the creekside path and an easy walk to Sweet Wife, North 7 and Betty's Books. The heater/cooler is loud, but can be turned completely off for quiet sleeping. I so appreciate having both a quiet refrigerator and a functioning microwave! The staff were wonderful.

The outside doors are naturally noisy if people forget to close them quietly, but some WD-40 on the hinges would sure be helpful.

Very clean and nicely renovated room with a comfortable bed. My room had lots of thoughtful little extras you'd find in a pricier place to stay. The breakfast was an unexpected delight with some hot items including freshly baked cinnamon rolls, eggs, bacon, and a cheery hello from a staff person. I'll be back.

My queen room was a good size for solo travel, but might be a little too cozy for two (especially the bathroom) unless you really like each other. Outside noise from guests was a slight bother, but not the inn's fault. Nevertheless, I was very happy here.

The location was excellent. The staff was friendly and responsive, cheerfully answering our questions about where to eat, what to do, etc. The updated shower in our bathroom was very nice. Everything was very clean, although the motel building is older and appears dated from the outside. Breakfast was freshly prepared scrambled eggs, bacon, hashbrowns and a variety of packaged goods.

Would have liked the bathroom fan to have been on a separate switch so you could leave the light on without listening to the fan.

Friendly staff. Comfortable. Quiet. Nice location. Has everything I need (usually) without the things I don’t, plus very cool wildlife wood paneling in some rooms (from someone who isn’t usually a great fan of wood paneling at all—it’s perfect for Inland NW). I look forward to staying at Bridge Street Inn. The reasons I have to travel when I stop in Baker City are stressful under the best circumstances. Staying at Bridge Street Inn takes away some of the stress.

Ice machine wasn’t working. 2nd time. I get trying to find parts for older equipment, though. Hope the part gets found. Travel aggravates a back issue. Being able to ice my back helps. Not traveling isn’t possible.
