Great location and the room had amazing sea view

We booked the room with a large double bed but got a twin bed room. The staff were very helpful and moved us to a new double bedroom very quickly. The hotel did charge us 1000 yuan deposit on arrival which we weren’t aware of when booking.

I can’t really see how anyone could give this place a negative review. I thought it was awesome start to finish. great price, always cleaned, perfect location right near the beach and right next to a mall with lots of small beach shops nearby. great Indian restaurant a few minute walk away. pool view was great and never too crowded. I saw in other reviews people complaining about a lack of English spoken by the staff, but I haven’t been to any cities in China where very much English is spoken. it’s china. learn some mandarin or break out the translation app. i don’t speak any and I had no problems. I recommended the hotel to some friends coming next month

I did think the breakfast buffet was tasty but if it’s not included in your room (wasn’t included for me) could be a bit pricy. I paid ¥180. the food selection was good though. nice range of Chinese and western options

The staff are very nice. The waitor at the restaurant, Mr. chen, is very friendly during breakfast.

Breakfast was absolutely brilliant!! They had a selection of everything! The pool was beautiful. There was a long walk from the rooms to the pool (wear your bath robe). The beach is a 3minute walk away from the hotel. There are bars/shops/restaurants there!

No one spoke English. No one replied on Booking.com when I was asking how to get to the hotel from the airport. One day the cleaners didn't clean my room, they just replaced the towels and gave me more water. I was disappointed because there was sand in the bath which I'd of liked cleaned! I was the only foreigner at the hotel, which meant people would stare at me within the hotel (especially at the swimming pool & at breakfast). No information on what to do in Sanya (went to the tourist desk in the hotel lobby but everything was in Chinese and no one was there).

Perfect location, clean room, helpfull staff.

Breakfast was poor, there is no English speaking staff.

- Not far from the airport: 30-40 min driving - Spacious and really tidy room - Well equipped gym: one of reasons I chose Harmen - Friendly staff & excellent service - Breakfast: a little bit disappointed as mostly Chinese food but overall it's still good

- Selection of breakfast: wish they could provide more continental breakfast - Location: the hotel does not have beachfront! still need to walk a bit to the beach
