Breakfast was wonderful, lots of selections for a variety of preferences and diets. Although the room was somewhat small, I loved it! Very cozy and the bed was excellent. Excellent shower, etc. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. The biggest thing that impressed me, being a morning coffee addict, was that they provided a coffee machine that we could use anytime.

The only problem we had was that the hotel puts the free transportation access card in the room, according to them. We did not receive one in our room and we were unable to obtain one from the management. Apparently, these cards are highly controlled, which makes sense. But, it seems to me that the management should give the card directly to the people when they check in. Then, there is no mistake.

We love everything about our accommodation at Domschatz Hotel, especially the sweet staff at breakfast, she was the nicest we have met! We were lucky to be able to book an entire holiday home across the hotel. It was the perfect spot at Quedlinburg, just across of Stiftskirche St Servatii and around 20 minutes nice walk from the main station. The holiday home was spacious and well equipped, they even provided the mineral water and beer in the fridge which was very nice gesture. The bedrooms are comfortable and perfect for family. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel and would love to book the same accommodation type if we come back one day to Quedlinburg!

This charming hotel is a great position, right at the foot of the cathedral's hill, next to the pedestrian area. It has a small private car park but a slot can be booked in advance. Our room was lovely and spotlessly clean and the breakfast buffet in the morning tasty and varied. We particularly appreciated the possibility of enjoying a free warm drink during the day and a glass of liqueur in the evening by the reception desk. The staff is kind and helpful.

Great hospitality from the personel, great location, excellent breakfast, access to private parking (paid extra).

It is not a minus but be aware that if located in the old part of the building you will hear steps of the person one floor above you. That is due to the wooden design and the fact that it is a historical building. In our case person(s) above us were not moving much so it was not an issue.

Perfect location, short walk to the Market Square. Great hospitality of the owners. You feel like home from the entrance. Generous breakfasts. Tea and coffee all day from modern express. Vending machine with drinks and snacks instead of minibar- great savings on waste power consumption! Night cup on top of all. Highly recommended place.

Beautiful house in a very good location right next to the city palace. Excellent breakfast and friendly, attentive staff. Everything is very clean and very quiet.

Single room in the attic without air conditioning. It was very hot in the room and the fan provided little cooling.

Location. The hotel is located on a quiet, beautiful street. Near the hotel there is a table with chairs where you can sit and drink coffee, which everyone staying in this hotel can make for themselves for free. There is an automatic coffee machine. Clean room, friendly staff.

There were no downsides for me

The personnel of the Domschatz is very professional. We always come to Quedlinburg every summer and this is where we stay. The breakfast is amazing and always very fulfilling. There is a high class coffee machine where the guests can get free coffee (and other non-caffeinated beverages) for free up to 6 PM. You can also sit outside and enjoy your coffee in the morning looking at the castle and the church. Downtown is some minutes away walking. There are some parking spaces at the hotel, but if you run out of luck, there are some free parking spaces in the nearby.

If you are trying to be completely cash-less (like a do), there is a local tax that needs to be paid and they take that only with cash (the payment for the stay can obviously be paid with card).

Nice hotel in very good location - just near castle and in short pleasant walk by picturesque streets to Market Square. Comfortable room, good breakfast, сaring and attentive staff. Free coffee, tea and water. Though it was written that the only spoken language in hotel is German, part of staff speaks English and we didn't have any problem with misunderstanding. Our room was on the upper, second floor but the staircase was easy). We were excited to receive free coffee with apple pie upon arrival. We enjoyed our coffee sitting at a table in the street near hotel and overlooking the castle and surrounding charming fachwerk buidings. This was wonderful start of our visit to Quedlinburg. After our walks across  the city we appreciated the location of hotel near the Castle as the best option. U

- My room (#6) with a single bed was unbelievably small, it was like a large pantry (excluding the bathroom). It didn't bother me personally because I travel light. My suitcase (medium-sized) fit perfectly under the table. - Breakfast room is a bit cramped, not much room to spread out and away from other guests. Also not a big fan of the radio with modern music playing in the background. - About 10-15 minutes to the Rathaus, which isn't bad, but be aware that some walking will be involved to get to the "center" - No refrigerator in the room
