Loved friendly service from the moment that I got there, Bell boy( gentleman), receptionist, specially house keeping team, they really looked after me while my staying. I travelled myself for work and stayed Steller Suite. Everyone was so caring when I requested what I needed. Not like other hotels( i only stay 5stars hotels) some hotels’s staffs were making me feel uncomfortable with their facial expression. All the staffs at the Darling were sincerely caring and listening to clients needs. I will definitely visit again for next year trip. Thank you for making my staying memorable and comfortable!

Great staff and services especially Shannell at the front desk who was really helpful and supportive to add us free parking and breakfast due to faulty online booking via booking. com. The Penthouse suite was fantastic and amazing with modern remotes controlling facilities which was impressive and wowed. Great location to all the pacific fair, beaches and restaurants, great valets parking staff and housekeeping. Definitely highly recommended and will book my next trip there again.

Nothing to dislike

Beautifully appointed, spacious rooms, with ocean views. Staff were very lovely and helpful, and made special accomodation for the fancy car which made the stay even more relaxing. The infinity pool area was delightful at sunset and 19 Restaurant well worth dining at.

It was a very high quality stay - the decor was very Casino and Gold Coast, which is not my style, but it was very appropriate and to a high standard, so maybe it's time I added a bit more bling to my own house

I booked the King Suite for 2 nights for my partners birthday. On arrival, I was advised that due to our special celebration, we were given a complimentary upgrade to the Penthouse Suite with Billiards room. I was blown away by this unexpected upgrade, the room was absolutely incredible and I am so grateful to The Darling for making our birthday celebrations so special and so unforgettable. On top of our upgrade, there was also a complimentary bottle of champagne and Happy Birthday note left in our room. This was one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had and is one that neither of us will ever forget. I cannot fault our stay at The Darling at all and I would highly recommend choosing The Darling for your next getaway, you will not be disappointed.

Most of the good restaurants were closed as was a Monday night so the experience wasn’t 1000% as we had to go across the road for dinner as we where celebrating our 33rd wedding anniversary so it was a little disappointing as we wanted to try the restaurant on the 19th level otherwise the room was fantastic

Customer service was exceptional. Valet, reception, security and cleaning team went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great. Rooms are beautifully appointed with great views and modern amenities. Breakfast at 19 was a great way to start the day and the main waiter was exceptional.

The only thing I would question about the darling is that the pool is only open until 6pm. For us staying in winter it wasn’t a problem but it would be disappointing in summer.

Everything was perfect from the valet carpark to the entrance of the hotel. Welcoming staff and just really fancy and upmarket furnishings. Loved the automatic curtains and the tub in our room, I could live there lol. Amazing views in the evening being on the 10th floor

For the price of $800 a night you would expect to have all the sports channels and movies to watch for free instead of having to pay. It just had all your main news and channels you would get at home so that is a bit disappointing. I thought we would spoil ourselves for the weekend which was great but I don't believe $800 was value for money, it would have been if everything was included ie minibar etc

Wry comfortable and clean

The pool on level 19 could do with some attention- the beds need to be cleaned and the pool need a good sweep and maybe a creepy crawler to get all the stuff off the bottom - which was there for our whole stay + we notice some tiles had come off one of the outside booths

It met the Cidhe Standard that my beloved holds with such an intricate impressionability scale so Thank you for such an enjoyable stay!

I am yet to get back to my call of duty as I was put on R&R by the aforementioned Boss! It is a beautiful venue with nice finishing touches, similar to my wife when I pick a good hotel, lol 😘

This is the first time we've stayed here, usually stay at the Mariott. The Darling was a pleasant surprise and such a great location. I would recommend staying at this hotel for anyone travelling to The Star.

I cannot name one thing that we didn't like. Honestly it was such a treat.
