The breakfast was included in the room rate, breakfast was excellent. The owner of the hotel Katherina and her staff were super friendly and accommodating. There was no bar but a comfortable and cozy lounge that was open 24/7 with a good supply of quality wines, beers and spirits where guests could sit down and relax, take drinks and snacks, filling in form by room number re what they consumed based on the “honour” bar system. Very convenient. One evening we drove to Salzburg to see the Christmas market which was amazing, was about an hour’s drive each way, very doable. Bathroom was new, bed was very comfortable, great location. We were very happy/lucky that the hotel was not fully booked when we arrived before Christmas so we could park our car in the nearby hotel garage. Ski bus stop was close to the hotel. The room had a balcony with chairs and a table where we could relax and take in fresh mountain air.

We liked everything, great value for money. We didn’t manage to go to the thermal baths because we were busy skiing and in the end opted to go to Salzburg instead of the baths.

The room is very comfortable and clean, the hotel is very central and easy to reach by train + bus. You can walk to the ski lift and to “Alpentherme”. We enjoyed the sauna, the steam room and the infrared cabin very much located directly at the hotel, as well as the amazing breakfast buffet where you can enjoy a wide variety of delicious, regional food.

In the standard room the bathroom is very small, especially the sink. Nevertheless it is very clean and well organized. Unfortunately in the spa the are many moldy spot on the walls but overall it is very comfortable and clean.

Location, location, location. Partnership with spa and the included robes, towels and slippers for it. Staff is amazingly helpful!! The artwork in the hotel is awesome, very unique.

Church bells last ring at 10pm and then resume at 6am, repeating every 15 mins. Since the balcony door has to be open for air circulation, you have exactly 8 hours to fall asleep and sleep which was the only downside to the whole place. It's out of their control unfortunately so I place no blame on the hotel. But like...how is no one else in town bothered by the constant ringing?

Incredible stay: location is right by the main church bang in the middle of the town. Rooms are very modern and renovated incredibly well. Breakfast was of great quality, coffee and tea from Julius Meinl, and eggs cooked how you like them there and then. They have free parking not far away on foot. Staff are sooo kind and helpful. Facilities are great, spa floor is really great quality. They also gave discounts Alpentherme! Art throughout the hotel is a really nice touch, common areas have objects from hundreds of years ago, so there is always something to admire!

There wasn't anything we didn't like, I wish we had access to a kettle in the room but apart from that everything was perfect!

- the only thing I might think of is the church bell that rings from ~7 am in the morning, but it wasn’t super disturbing for us

We were really happy with everything at The Storks. Communication prior to our trip was great, check in smooth. The room was beautiful and spotlessly clean and the beds were so comfortable. There was a lot of attention to detail all across the hotel, which we loved. Breakfast was outstanding too. Definitely recommended.

The hotel is wonderful, the service, the staff, the breakfast are amazing! The location is right in Bad Hofgastein center, walking distance to all the restaurant, the SPA and the cable car. Free parking is provided by the hotel when arriving with a car.

The hotel is located next to a church, in which the bells are ringing every 15 minutes and on the hour from 06:00 until 22:00 7 days a week. This is not convenient If the room is located on the Church side for guests having light sleep and would like to sleep longer hours in the morning I reccomend to people having light sleep habits, to book rooms on the side which are not facing the church.

Great location right in the town centre, few meters to walk to the main square with pubs and cafes. Also very nice, clean and well maintained hotel. Free cable cars tickets was also great bonus.

The only flip side was the distance to the parking lot...some 5 mins to walk.

Wonderful breakfast! Great selection. We had a room with a great view and balcony. Nice lounge downstairs where you can have a drink. Very nice staff.

No fridge in the room. Restaurant does not serve dinner. Make sure to make a reservation at nearby restaurants, as sometimes it’s hard to get a spot.
