So very clean and comfortable resort, beautiful pool area. All staff were exceptionally friendly. Room was so spacious with a large most comfortable bed, with room serviced impeccably on a daily basis.

Nothing! Thoroughly enjoyed every second of my stay!

Initially, when I arrived at the accommodation, I did not know that it was a resort for gays. We arrived at this accommodation because the first accommodation was not as described and we had to change our accommodation. But I don't regret it for a moment. It was one of the quietest and most welcoming accommodations I've stayed in. Quiet, welcoming, comfortable, everyone has their own way of life, extremely large pool, rooms on the ground floor have a view and access to the pool. Very kind staff. If I ever come back to Pattaya, I will definitely stay here again.

It takes a bit of walking to the center, walking street or other access points, but if you call a taxi, which doesn't cost much, it's no problem. You must make the payment online, or with cash, because when paying by card a rather large commission is charged, we would have paid a commission of 45 euros.

The owner Jim and his head of staff Chang were exceptionally warm, friendly and helpful to me during my stay at Baan Souy. They were fantastic as well as all the other members of staff. I can't thank them enough. The property is beautiful and my accomodation in the resort was very spacious, well decorated. I loved it.The property is in a quiet area, not too far from Supertown which is only a 5 ro 7 minute cab ride away. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was beautifully set out around the swimming pool with lovely gardens and nice sitting areas. The rooms were large and well equipped and had nice sitting areas and balconies overlooking the pool. There were lots of choices for breakfast, which you could eat either in the cafe, your room or by the pool. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The whole atmosphere of the hotel was one of quiet relaxation. The hotel was a short walk away from a main road with good connections to the beach and centre of Pattaya.

Boutique style hotel with a great pool, excellent service and nothing is 2 much ... good food served poolside or at your room , owners jim n Gordon will go out there way to look after you...poolside is lovely and quiet and its so relaxing after a mad night on the town...rooms are excellent and are kept clean by a superb cleaning staff... home from home feel....9/10 from me...

No pool bar......

Baan Souy deserves an easy 10 out of 10 from me. I base this after staying in Pattaya many times, and in different places in Pattaya. From start to finish, the hospitality is exceptional. Mr. Chang at Reception, Mr. Jim as owner, and all - yes, all - of the staff. Breakfast was simple, but cooked with love, attention to detail and served with smiles. Satisfying each day, indeed. Sounds of birds singing, and sounds of quiet were so refreshing, likely due to being low season and no children. Yes, there were mostly males checked-in, although I was aware this may be the case before I booked. Not sure if high season would have the same serene, relaxed vibe. Nevertheless, the accommodation is excellent and the two bedroom my friend and I stayed in felt much better than the pictures could show. Hence, we extended our stay. Thank you, Baan Souy - a hidden gem, indeed.

My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The room was spacious and opened up to the pool area, which made for a great view. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options to choose from. The staff were incredibly warm and friendly, always willing to assist and make my stay comfortable. The location of the hotel was perfect, tucked away from the hustle and bustling areas of Pattaya but still close enough to the beach and other attractions. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Pattaya.

I wish the mattress was a bit softer, but this is only a minor issue.

LOOK NO FURTHER! Baan Souy is BY FAR the best resort of the many I’ve stayed in Thailand over the years. In fact it’s so good it raised my opinion of the entire area of Jomtien. Everything is in it’s place, carefully maintained and to a very high standard. Details, function, setting and amenities. It has it all. On top of this and no small part are the excellent staff. Considerate, professional, conscientious and impeccable manners.

What is not to like? Right up to the minutes before I left I was telling the owners I didn’t want to leave. Both times I’ve visited I extended my stay there!

Look no further. As a native Scot you can be sure my eye is both critical and extremely concerned about cost:value. This resort is a hidden gem, compact and beautifully hidden in plain sight. I was genuinely surprised by the cordial and helpful staff who were always happy to help and really make an effort. I was in multiple cities earlier this year for work and ended up extending my stay here and regretting having to leave. Seriously the best place I've ever stayed in Thailand. the value for money and the attention to detail means it punches well above it's weight. I've rebooked for 2 weeks in June, another work trip and I look forward to it once more !

I can't fault it really, there are multiple laundrettes within walking distance, maybe a wash room for clothing?
