We really liked the room per se: spacious, well decorated, nice modern bathroom. The staff was very nice and the overall position was okay (bas ville so it is in the lower part of the city whereas restaurants are in the upper part) and quite quiet. The bas ville is easily accessible by bus or funiculaire (we also walked which is nicer going down)

I knew there was no AC but the room was really hot and the only way to survive the night was to keep the windows open. However just below the room was the restaurant which of course was noisy until almost midnight and in the morning we were woken up by the light, by cars and by the church bells. In addition the bed had only a duvet / light comforter instead of having also maybe a blanket / sheet for summer so we slept without cover… We had to keep the windows open but even with the windows closed there are night curtains but they let a lot of light in so not so great.

The location was in the heart of the old town and yet quiet and relaxing. The hotel contacted us via email with a pass for the busses and other activities. Both the city and the hotel exceeded our expectations. It was quite a lucky find.

We knew which bus to take, but didn't know that it was inside the station, therefore after many laps looking for the bus, we schlepped our bags to the hotel. I am sure it is due to our lack of experience with travel, but having that notated somewhere would have been great!

The hotel is well kept with sufficient modernity. The staff were so friendly, there should be more of such hospitality in Switzerland! They were simply lovely, from check-in to breakfast up until check-out.

Nothing! For those traveling to the hotel, it’s important to be aware that only the number 4 bus provides direct service to the hotel. If you take other buses, be prepared for a bit of a trek – they only stop at the top, which means you’ll need to navigate a descent on cobblestone streets with your suitcase in hand.

Nice location close to downtown and walking/hiking trails. Very friendly and helpful staff - in particular, I wanted to thank Alexandra for patiently answering all the questions, giving recommendations for walks and places to eat, helping with issues in the room, and making some special arrangements on the last day of our stay. I would also like to thank Antoine for his kind attention and rememering which guest I was and what I needed.

Unfortunately, the room itself was not what I expected. It was adjacent to the restaurant's terrace and faced the street, and was therefore quite loud late at night and early in the morning. The room's cleanliness was also not up to four-star standards. Overall, however, a pleasant stay in Fribourg.

The hotel is nicely decorated, with really good taste. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking spaces in front of the hotel (extra pay).

We visited the hotel in August. It was pretty hot. Windows are really small, so even when opened, it was not enough to cool down the room.

Everything... Great coffee machinr and chocolate in the mini fridge, loads of cushions, comfy bed, stylish furniture and lighting, super clean.

Nothing. (Minor thing - there was a room fan leftover from summer days in the room still that took up space in the wardrobe.)

Big clean stylish room. Wonderful friendly staff. Very nice breakfast. Brilliant location in the old quarter of Fribourg. Everything can be done by foot. Excellent restaurant nearby across the square and parking in front of hotel (usually a difficult task in Switzerland). We just loved it.

Somehow they didn't manage to clean the room by 14:00 (that is when we came back exhausted from a longish walk about town) so it stayed that way. But that is probably because it was a Sunday. But that is really the only hick up.

Charming Deluxe Room at the last floor of the Hotel with lift, view and Flair. Very friendly staff (welcome desk, restaurant). Large parking facility (Planche supérieure). Easy checkin & out. Tasty restaurant!

Noisy cleaning staff on the saturday morning - so no oversleeping. To my taste, to many emails/messages sent around the booking but that is probably a society challenge or has to do with the fact that I do not feel like a "sauvage"...

Spacious well decorated Room, with a huge extremely comfortable bed. Very clean, in a quieter but central part of Fribourg. The building is old, but you don't notice that anywehere negatively. Can recommend to anyone.

The hotel is located in a historical building, but the rooms are spacious and modern, made with love for furniture and other details. Best possible location in the old part of the city, very well connected to the train station, walking distance to main attractions, but also hiking routes. Enthusiastic, young and multilingual team. Make sure to have dinner in the hotel. It's high cuisine. A true gem.
