The breakfasts were really great. The food was excellent! The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful and very gracious. We enjoyed our stay in the lovely rustic but elegant hotel. It turned out to be wonderful to be out of the hustle and bustle of Cortina, especially because they are already preparing for the 2026 winter olympic games. So, there is a lot of construction. The hotel offered a shuttle service into town, because we didn't have a car. This service was readily available and prompt at picking us up. I highly recommend the Hotel Mirage!!

I love this hotel. Huge rooms, comfortable beds - we always sleep so well there. Great outside area with fantastic area for children: trampoline, table football, table tennis, giant connect4, etc etc. Free private sauna / jacuzzi that you can book to be exclusive. The outside bar area has fantastic views of the mountains and often has peaceful live music in the background (piano singer).

The decor is old fashioned so if you don’t like pink shower tiles this may not be the hotel for you, but actually I find it charming and it’s nice that good quality tiles aren’t replaced just because the style isn’t up to the minute. Would have appreciated longer pool opening hours.

Classic hotel in a serene and picturesque area outside of Cortina dÁmpezzo. The level of service feels like the good old days. The children's playground was a bonus and much appreciated by my kids. The breakfast was great. All the staff in the hotel were friendly and professional. The family room we booked was spacious and comfortable.

No tea/coffee facilities in the room and breakfast isn't until 7:30. I would have liked to have had coffee on my balcony while enjoying the view in the early morning. Also the wifi was weak in our room.

The staff were very exceptional for the value of the hotel. The Kids Club was a huge plus allowing my wife and I to have a few hours away from our kids. For a little $$, they even fed our kids in the club, allowing my wife and I to have a private dinner on a couple nights. When my wife was sick, they brought her tea with small cookies to the room. The restaurant and waiters were also fantastic! Food was expensive, but very good quality. The wait staff were incredibly kid friendly, even helping to scoop items from the breakfast buffet for them. Oranges and apples to take were very sweet and a huge boost while on the slopes.

A few things are a bit outdated to include very tiny bathrooms… hard to give 3 kids showers… lack of outlets in the rooms, lack of lighting in the rooms, and small fitness room with severely limited and outdated equipment. The shuttle into town was nice, but it would have been way more helpful to have it drop off at Tofana, where the kids slopes are. Ski room was also helpful, but warmers for the boot rack would have been helpful.

This hotel is totally set up for families. With the view of the Mini Club from the evening free drinks/snacks to indoor pool, our kids had a great time. It was not busy at all when we were there, but I can imagine it's packed at certain times of year with lots of kids to play with. The staff was very attentive and helpful. Views were amazing! The family room had nice dividing walls so we could separate the room. Tons of storage space!

The bathroom and shower room were small and older, but everything was clean and sufficient.

The hotel is absolutely amazing - we were upgraded to a higher category room with a view to die for - beautiful panorama of the Dolomites right from a huge balcony. Service was exceptional, they have a sauna/pool/jacuzzi to relax after the long Dolomite hikes. We had a great time at the MIrage and will be coming back! It's only 5 min by car from the Cortina and is priced quite reasonably compared with the majority of Cornina hotels. Breakfast was very good as well.

We have never experienced such a high standard of customer service, which was professional but also homely. All staff, without exception, were extremely attentive and showed great care. Special call out to Salvadore at the restaurant whose professional attention to detail and warm, welcoming nature made every breakfast and dinner a special experience to remember. We could not speak higher of staff at Hotel Mirage. The hotel's cleanliness was a 10 out of 10 and our stay was very comfortable. The room was spacious, split across two floors, and it accommodated our numerous suitcases and the four of us with ease. The view from the balcony was breathtaking. We will definitely be back to the spectacular Dolomites and would choose Hotel Mirage all over again for its staff and comfort.

The staff at this hotel were very friendly and helpful, especially the general manager, Graciela (sorry for the spelling) and the main Bar man , Antonio. They always had a big smile for us! The breakfast was quite excellent and the dining room staff were all very professional and kind (even with 2 youngsters). The hotel is an older one, but well maintained. The grounds for the kids (and adults!) were great and the views were spectacular. There is also a nice indoor pool but bring your swim cap! I would stay here again if I am lucky enough to return to Cortina some day.

The rooms did not have AC but in the mountains the temps were comfortable at night with a window open. While our room did have a lift, the newer building where out kids were staying did not but this wasn't really a problem for them. This hotel is a short driving distance to town (about 10 minutes) so you need a car or make use of the hotel shuttle. There are no restaurants or stores within walking distance. The views and grounds make that unimportant.

This property is well-positioned right outside of Cortina. I liked that it was outside the town with very nice areas to relax. Wonderful views, green grass. The breakfast was excellent. In fact I had the best donut ever here but also some tasty eggs, bacon, and other sweets. The service was awesome. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The pool, hot tub and amenities were all well-received especially after long days of hiking. All things considered this was a great value for the dolomites during high season!

The junior suite was a little tight for our family of 4 - with 2 teens. My bad for not getting the bigger suite. The pool, sauna, and hot tub had limited hours. It was nice that we could reserve to get some privacy, but it would have been nice to use in the morning or later evening.

Loved the tranquility of the hotel. The grounds are very welcoming and enjoyable. There’s easily accessible hiking paths to the mountains, as well as the town. My wife and I do not have children, but they do offer pancakes at breakfast for 5 Euros. The kids we saw really enjoyed them.

It you’re looking for formal dinners and traditional black tie service, it’s great. There are no dress codes or anything, but dining is NOT casual. The rooms and decor are circa ~1982. 330 ml beers are 6 Euros. No tap beers. All beers come with chips, olives and peanuts: Overkill in my mind, perhaps heaven in another’s mind.
