Food and Staff were awesome. Room was very clean and well appointed with a stunning rain shower. Wifi worked very well. Being located in the center of Potton is highly convenient if like me, you like small town living. There is a Tesco convenience store within a short walking distance.

I choose to book the single room. Having been spoiled by sleeping in a king every night, I forgot how small a single bed is. The single room is small and would not work for a person of much larger stature than my 6ft 200 pound frame. Bear in mind the accommodation is over a bar and restaurant. Cleaning staff are in early.

Room was cosy, Very clean. Lovely shower. Shower gel , hand wash and towels included. Variety of teas and coffee. We stayed there as were attending a wedding breakfast there. Three course meal was excellent. Everyone was full after. Staff polite and helpful. My husband had the English breakfast and enjoyed it. We were able to help ourselves to a selection of cereals, tea, coffee, orange juice, apple juice, toast, (selection of jams for the bread). Also a bowl of fruit was available.

Rooms are really lovely with nice modern bathrooms and nice little extras with hot chocolate, bottles of water and biscuits. Nice big comfy beds and staff really welcoming. Also, after a bit of a noisy experience on my past visit, I was put into a quite room on the top floor away from the stairs so that was much appreciated.

Only downside, it is an older building so there is always going to be a bit of noise from fellow guests walking around and the road outside is a little noisy but this didn't actually bother me, just something to be aware of.

The first thing that we noticed was how pleasant and helpful the staff are! The lovely room we stayed in was spacious and tastefully decorated and the bathroom beautiful and modern (room 2)- great rainfall shower. Very comfortable bed. We slept really well! Spotlessly clean throughout. Set in a lovely little village, with shops and all you need for your stay. Very pleasant bar area. Large car park to rear. Although we didn’t eat there at night, the restaurant looked to be serving lovely food. We just had the continental breakfast which was adequate and the breakfast room was relaxing. We were attending a wedding close by and the staff were really helpful providing us the taxi numbers etc. we were there on ‘the hottest day of the year’ and when we arrived the blinds were closed and a fan was on in the room to keep it cooler for us which we really appreciated! If we are in the area again we will most definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this lovely hotel.

Nothing to dislike !

Lovely and clean en-suite rooms which have been tastefully decorated and are very welcoming with some nice extra touches such as good quality hand wash, body lotions etc and free tea, coffee, biscuits etc. Restaurant and bar downstairs served a nice menu and the dishes were excellent that we enjoyed. Friendly staff were very helpful and polite. A really enjoyable stay and we were able to get train to London for the day to enjoy sight-seeing from nearby Biggleswade.

Nothing - all good!

The photos do not do this justice! Gorgeous gastro pub and the room we had was on the top floor, beautiful and spacious! We felt right at home. Loved that brekkie was included and despite the pub being busy over the weekend we didn’t hear a thing! Parking & wifi included also and they were super accommodating with early/late check out.

A little slow on service at breakfast but an honest mistake. They were fab honestly and good hearty breakfast.

Great breakfast, fresh pastries were lovely. Small choice, but good hot options. Full English was filling. Sausage was spot on. Staff were very attentive. Could have done with extending time to 09.30.

Be aware that there is no lift to second floor, quite a lot of steps. We had an 83 year old lady in our party staying on second floor. The owner and manager changed her room straight away, with no fuss.

comfortable room, well presented, tea coffee facilities. Close to shops and amenities and A1

Towels were very old and frayed. No meals served on a Sunday evening, so when I arrived there was nothing to eat. Breakfast was only continental, not a great deal of choice. 1st morning no hot water to make porridge pots up, bread was in plastic Tesco bags and mouldy. Drinking glass had lipstick on. Not a great first impression. The next two mornings were better. Fruit would be better cut up into a fruit salad with a selection of fresh pastries and meats and cheeses. wifi cuts out all the time, so I couldn’t use my laptop for work purposes.

Superb breakfast. Best poached egg I've had in years. And thanks for sending on my cycling top, left behind in the shower and reaching home in North Norfolk before I did - even before being reimbursed for the postage. A touch of kind service genius.

Very minor point on cleaning which was raised at the time with the morning staff, and one of those oversights which can happen. Did not compromise my stay in any way, which was a complete delight.

I was welcomed into The Coach House and had a lovely meal on the day of my checking in. The staff were helpful, happy and welcoming. The food was great, the room and shower room was great, they had great facilities and great products. Potton itself was charming and cute, with a couple of small shops, food and even a library on opposite the pub and a great community feel.

There is not anything I could think of to improve, I really did enjoy staying and would recommend it and definitely like to return.
