If you are going to be in Janesville, this is a clean, comfortable place to stay on the river/ downtown. It is close to shopping/ bars/ restaurants/ coffeeshops. It is also right on the river, so you have access to the riverwalk. The rooms are spacious; they have a mini fridge and a microwave. The coffee provided in the morning is especially good. Just a note that the weekdays they only serve breakfast until 9am. There is a pool and a fitness center, but I did not use either ( they looked nice though). There is also a full service restaurant on site.

Only two small issues: the eggs in the breakfast were just average. The heater in the room made a clicking noise when it was starting up.

In general, Cobblestone was very good and I would recommend it. For the most part, it exceeded my expectations and was a very good value.

Upon returning to my room after being gone all day, I found the door unlocked & open due to a deployed dead bolt that housekeeping did not disengage after cleaning the room. My room was left open for at least 6-8 hours, if not more. I understand that things happen, but this is thoroughly unacceptable. It's just fortunate that I did not have valuables in the room and that all of the personal belongings appeared untouched. Also, during this same housekeeping, the garbage was not emptied and the coffee station was not cleaned/restocked. One other point of some dissatisfaction is that regarding breakfast, the coffee station is located out in the hall, rather than in the breakfast room with the food. Just kind of inconvenient.

The hotel is really new and is a very good value. Much better location in Janesville than staying at comparable hotels which are located near the freeway; Cobblestone's downtown location is much better for my purposes.

The only thing that I don't like, which it out of the hotel's control, are the clouds of bugs outside that I suspect are generated by the adjacent Rock River.

I booked the King Suite for one night. Separate bedroom and living room areas was nice. Big comfy King bed with lots of pillows. Large fridge, sink and two-burner cooktop. Views of the downtown from the windows. This is the only hotel that I am aware of that is right downtown Janesville close to all the best bars, restaurants and shops this cute little town has to offer. I would happily return.

It would have been nice if the bar stayed open a bit later. Maybe 11? There were 2 weddings and a class reunion staying there and they need places to gather

Our hotel room was spectacular. We opted for the Deluxe suite and it was perfect for having a few family members gather after the wedding we were attending a short distance away.

Overall, everything was great. Can't really think of anything we didn't like.

The room was perfect for our family of five as we were in town for a family wedding. We loved the daily breakfast, excellent coffee both in the room and downstairs, and the kids loved the pool. The room was very clean, beds were very comfortable, and the location right on the river was wonderful…enjoyed a beautiful walk and hike on an ice age trail right from the hotel. Very happy and would definitely stay here again.

The amazibg staff that found us a room for us since my original reservation didn't exist

I didn't like the fact that I booked this reservation many weeks in advance, had a confirmation number from Booking.com, but when I called to check in with that confirmation number, they had no reservation for me. Luckily, the great food at The Cobblestone found a roon for us!

Hotel was only minutes away from wedding. Good selection of breakfast items offered. We were given an early checkin as we had requested.

Room was quiet and clean. The receptionist was wonderful. There was a heat wave rolling through and the AC worked perfectly.

We had a little difficulty finding a parking spot, as one guest had parked a moving truck across 5 or 6 spaces. Parking is always going to be tough in a city, as space is limited, but it was a bit of a headache.
