Loves the whole vibe of the accommodation, that’s why I picked it.

We stayed in a range of places on our road trip hand s Dow. This one was the fancier of all of them the only thing that let it down was the shower, the water you got it to the right temp and than it would go cold after a moment or so and it did this throughout the shower didn’t ruin our stay we just marked it down in our conversations we had afterwards is all, would we stay again yes. It ticked all the boxes we were looking for, for an overnight stop out in the middle of nowhere - across the dirt track from the infamous William Creek Pub. Clean, comfortable (king !) bed, quiet, air conditioned,fridge and self contained bathroom with good water supply. Noted they r currently building glamping tents ✔️✔️ The pub had good food, service and staff ✔️✔️

everything - the accommodation and bathroom and toilet facilities were clean and fresh - the staff members were friendly and helpful - the pub atmosphere was awesome - the food was excellent- the flight over lake eyre and the painted hills was wonderful and the young pilot Jordan and the co-pilot instructor were both informative - a unique experience not to be missed

as our flight over lake eyre was at 7 am it would have been nice to have been able to have a bit of breakfast before we left - this is not a complaint, merely a suggestion - maybe a snack provided to have when we stopped for the walk around the painted hills

Two couples travelling with one car and a trailer. There is very little at William Creek except everything about it was charming. The Oodnadatta track was washed out as were any other exits so we had to stay an extra night. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Food was good, the staff were lovely. They did many tasks…worked at the bar, flew the planes, served at pub and were super friendly. Did not matter who did what they worked as a great team. The flight to EBA station was a highlight.

Cabins were extremely basic (literally just a bed) but very clean and comfortable. Staff was lovely. There is a good "vibe" around. Bathrooms were clean and good water pressure.

Couldn't keep the window blinds up.

We stayed in the self-contained two bedroom cabin - very comfortable, about 200m from any other buildings, so private but close enough to the hotel for supper. A special way to end a days driving, and a great accompaniment to a flight over Lake Eyre. Very memorable for all the right reasons.

We stayed in one of the new ensuite rooms and were very comfortable. Great evening meals at the hotel. Very helpful staff.

The camping facilities were basic and okay if you were self contained.

We felt like a relaxing outback experience and spent 2 days at William Creek. It was so relaxing and friendly helpful staff. We were very lucky to fly over Lake Eyre after the big rains. Beautiful place to visit.

Nothing we wanted an outback experience and that’s what we got ☺️.

William Creek is a fascinating place. The staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome. Very comfortable for such a remote location

Be great if the units had more insulation. On temperatures beyond 40, the Aircon works hard to get temperatures down. But still great.
