Breakfast was wonderful. Both the owners were hands on in the kitchen. I was running late as i had been for a race that morning and the staff kept the kitchen open until i was served with the breakfast of my choice.

I think the Lodge don't advertise themselves enough for the races that take place in Hillcrest, they should because most people are not aware of this place. They should also should offer a shuttle to these races to and from the race destination.

Facilities, inside and outside the rooms. You don't have to just stay in the room. Outside is super beautiful The setting was just beautiful The pictures don't do it enough justice. Nice setting for getaway, probably even for family outing

The breakfast> there was little attempt to it, though it was tasty but no drinks accompanied, and no spices nor salt nor sauces. But, maybe it's because I had room service, I don't know

the rooms where dark and felt damp we had bugs in the room and stains on the fresh sheets.

Booked for my dad as he was attending a funeral nearby. He was very happy with this place. Felt like home. Staff are amazing and really accommodating. He was due to check out at 7am. Staff offered to come in early so they would accommodate his request of early check out. Would definitely book this lodge in the near future.

Our room was wonderful with everything we needed. Comfortable bed, big bathroom with a bath. The staff was very friendly and helpful with whatever we needed. Swimming pool was great and the location was also good.

There was a function at the venue on the day we arrived and people were socialising outside which was in front of our room and was quite noisy. But they left late afternoon so we still had a quiet evening.

The owner was present at breakfast the following morning and we had a lovely chat. The staff were attentive and very helpful. When we checked in, one of the staff was signing off duty, however he stayed just to ensure that our check in was smooth and seamless.

There was no dinner on offer the night we checked in. Not too much of an issue as we ordered food in from a local delivery service.

The property was a real surprise. The web adverts don’t do it justice. Very classy, beautiful gardens, excellent rooms and the staff, particularly Azi, were great.

Everything barring the Wi-Fi which was a little flakey but someone was there to fix that the day we left. Only thing I would like to have had available was more fresh fruit at breakfast.

Lovely staff, property is always clean, amazing staff, good breakfast, property is safe.

I struggle a lot with sinuses and it seems it was triggered during my stay due to their carpets being filled with dust which made it difficult for me to breathe. Property needs to deep clean their carpets or make sure to cater for people who have such allergies.

The only disappointment was the breakfast that was serviced. The breakfast was way below the quality of the facilities and general stay. The bacon was terrible, the portions were very small, in fact both the breakfast that were ordered we hardly touch and left. Beside the breakfast everything else was great. We will defiantly stay again but miss breakfast.

Lovely place in a good location. It was nice that it was different from 'normal' hotels. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The accommodation was comfortable and provided everything one would need.

The only thing I could think of, is that at least a bottle of water should be complimentary, especially since it was so hot.
