We had an exceptional stay at this hotel. The staff is absolutely the friendliest I've met in a long time. The breakfast was delicious and they had well thought out options, lots of local and organic foods. I was impressed how well organized everything was, for example when we returned from breakfast our room was already cleaned, that was consistent throughout our stay. We've stayed in several more expensive brand hotels around the world and never experienced anything like this. I would stay at this hotel again.

Parking is a bit tricky, would be awesome to have dedicated parking spaces near the hotel.

If you go to Ragusa (highly recommended), stay at A.D. 1768. The hotel, recently renovated, is beautiful, artistic, clean and innovative. Staff (including the owner) was super friendly and went above and beyond to give us recommendations, not just for Ragusa, but for the rest of our stay in Sicily. Breakfast was amazing; we chose three items off the menu and received eggs, four types of biscuits (cookies/pastries) and a fruit cup. And the location - right on the central plaza, cannot be beat. The price was incredibly reasonable - especially because of the quality of the breakfast.

Everything was amazing, the place is a gem. We stayed just for one night but we wished we could spend more days there. Every little detail of the hotel, both in the rooms and in the common spaces (the living room is not to be missed!) is carefully thought with exquisite taste. The breakfast was a culinary experience , not a buffet but authentic Sicilian recipes prepared and served in the style of a fine dining restaurant . Last but not least all the staff was very professional and at the same time friendly and open . We will definitely return to this place when we get the chance.

Picked it for the location and a balcony with view of the cathedral. Very large room and very large bed and gorgeous bedlinen. Little smeg fridge .Coffee machine. Very nice large shower .Breakfast was all to order and was excellent. Great atmosphere in the surrounding area in the evening with lots of good quality bars and restaurants. A lovely place to stroll and see the sun set.

Parking , we booked as it mentioned parking but Ragusa Ilba has no parking in the historic old town . Plenty of parking on the lower area but a 15/20 min walk from where we parked. So travel light.

The hotel itself is beautifully designed, capturing the charm and history of the area while offering all the modern comforts one could wish for. What truly sets this place apart, however, is the exceptional staff. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality. Every member of the team went out of their way to ensure my stay was perfect, making me feel right at home. If you're looking for a place with character, comfort, and unparalleled service, this hotel is a must-visit.

The hotel is impeccable – beautifully decorated, perfectly clean everywhere, and offers maximum comfort. It was more luxurious than anticipated and located ideally, but even so the staff is probably the best part! They are brilliant and went out of their way to be hospitable and helpful at all times. Also, their breakfast is amazing.

Nothing really, but two small suggestions could be to place bathrobes in the rooms for convenience and perhaps a full-length mirror, which would be useful. These are very minor though, and managed just fine without.

Stunning palazzo in the heart of Ragusa Ibla! We loved our stay at A.D. 1768 Boutique Hotel and we'd definitely recommend it and/or would go back if we went back to Ragusa. Staff was polite, professional and responsive - through them we organised a walking tour of Ibla which we really enjoyed! The hotel is beautifully decorated, and lots of nice touches everywhere. The location is perfect; if you rent a car to move around Sicily, you can park it, forget about it during your stay in Ibla and walk everywhere. Everything we had for breakfast was delicious and we often found ourselves comparing their breakfast with what we had in other hotels. Our bedroom wasn't in the main building but on the nearby square: again lovely decor, very spacious, and clean. We worried we might be woken up by the noise in the square but, luckily, it was soundproofed. Not really a negative feedback (also because we knew about it when we booked the room) but, if there was availability, we'd have preferred to stay in the main building.

Every single thing is this boutique hotel is extraordinary and incredible designed to please their guests! The owner and her team do everything possible to ensure your stay is top notch including a Michelin star level breakfast all made from local ingredients as they believe in zero KM foot print to bring food in! The location was also prefect! We feel super spoiled and are so appreciative of the implacable hospitality at this stunning hotel🙏🙏😇😇🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 thank you!!!

The hotel has a wonderful staff who helped to sort out all the nuances. Excellent breakfast menu. The rooms had a wow effect, a very beautiful and stylish boutique hotel.

If you travel by car, then there are nuances with parking. Keep in mind that you will have to leave the car about 5-7 minutes on foot from the hotel. We knew this in advance after talking with the hotel staff, so it did not cause any additional inconvenience for us. Nevertheless, it is possible to unload and load suitcases from your car.

Everything was beyond incredible. A magic historic place In prime center of old town of Ibla in Ragusa. The owner was so wonderful to pick us up and the entire staff was extraordinary on welcoming us. The place is absolutely stunning and kept the original feature of the history but renovated all interns. The room was gigantic and beautiful with high ceiling, private terrace and modern features. Breakfast was beyond extraordinary with a la carte selection of local and homemade products both sweet and savory completely complimentary. I travel a lot but this place is defiantly on my top list to go back to. It's also super centered to everything: cafes, bars, restaurant and stores + the main duomo! The little train in town is so fun. Do a tour :-)
