The room itself had fantastic natural lighting with many windows and felt plenty large for our family to spread out. The location is excellent as it is only minutes away from several large retailers, gas stations, restaurants, and freeway access. For any little thing we needed we could drive two minutes and have access to easy shopping. The area is also a well kept and safer feeling area of the south side of the city. Breakfast was a decent, standard continental breakfast with plenty of proteins, grains, and a pancake machine. The staff was all friendly and helpful. This is one of the cleaner hotels we have stayed in. Altogether we will likely stay here again the next time we are in San Antonio.

The one thing that was a little frustrating was the laundry room. There is one washer and one dryer which is not out of the ordinary, but the machines seemed to be in disrepair with some functions not working on the dryer, and they are fairly out of date as quarters are required to operate. Where we have a good size family and stayed several days, laundry is pretty important otherwise everything else was great.

Dim holding $50 and $50 out of my bank account to separatimes. And not telling me that they were going to do that. I don't believe in that I believe in if you mess up the room. Come up there and look if there's nothing wrong with it. Then you leave don't charge someone $50 and $50. And then tell him oh, it'll go back on your credit card. Some people don't have that. You might have charged somebody a late fee for. Making a bill paying it and didn't have the money in there. That's what I didn't like. So I'll probably never stay at a Holiday Inn again.

Staff was friendly. Facility was clean. Coffee was good. Plenty of channels on the TV, although, I wish they would print the channel guide a little larger. Usually, nice and quiet.

There were ONLY TWO USB ports in the entire room and NONE bedside! Access to the hotel from the main road, depending on what direction you are coming from, may require some creative driving, as there is no cross-over in the esplanade. While it is not impossible, it's just a pain, especially during periods of higher traffic.

Okay honestly the stay and the employees were amazing! I was really nervous after I had booked my reservation due to the reviews I was reading, but let me tell you this was by far the best Holiday Inn we have stayed at! Breakfast was great. Housekeeping came and cleaned our room every day! Of course if you have the sign on your door the wouldn’t but we took it off before we went on about are day. Thank you Holiday Inn for making our stay a great experience!

Location is great, everything is around Walmart, H‑E‑B, Samsclub, restaurant, pharmacy

Carpet was not clean was sticky. You can’t move bare foot.

I loved that it was near a good amount of stores, just in case you forgot something for the trip ! A good amount of restaurants/ fast food places as well. We stayed there for a concert at the Frost Bank Center & thought it was a good place to stay, didn’t seem too far away.

Staff and facilities are nice.

Floor carpet seems like it wasn't vacuumed at all. It also had that musty smell that you can smell all over the room

Wonderful selection of breakfast options. My kids loved it as well. I loved the omelette. Smelled great in the morning with coffee lingering in the hallways.

We traveled with our doggie. It would be great to have more than one location to drop off the trash bags when we pick up after they poop.

Friendly staff were very helpful. Building was comfortable

We had to check out very early at 5am, which we told them at check-in and check out. It would have been nice to be offered a epic of fruit or bagel or something cold for breakfast.
