Beautiful, spacious, clean and well-equipped suites, with very helpful and welcoming owners. The location is superb, less than 10 minutes' walk to Jardín Allende in the heart of the city, but just far enough away to avoid most of the evening noise, and the views from the rear roof terrace are spectacular. The facilities were excellent, with comfy beds, a good choice of entertainment on TV, a small kitchen with fridge-freezer, a hot, powerful shower and reliable WiFi. Really excellent value for money and a great option for couples and small families.

The location near the top of the hill may be tiring for some, and is difficult if you are carrying luggage, but you will earn some amazing views. The room was also warm on evenings during hot weather, which made it harder to sleep, but the ceiling fans offered some respite.

It's charm, only problem for myself and partner was the location being 60+ in age we both struggled with climb from centre to accommodation very steep hill. Accommodation was great for the price, cleanliness etc. Just wish was younger x

Steep hill but not proprietors fault just think people should be aware of steepness of hill from centre to accommodation on the plus side rate for taxi from centre to accommodation very cheap at roughly £2 so great alternative to becoming breathless

We stayed in the beautiful premium suite with a beautiful view and so close to the center...We could walk everywhere. We had a kingsize bed, and a full kitchen...The most wonderful thing was the private patio and a huge backyard with a heavenly garden...We drank coffee and ate breakfast outside everyday...The whole facility was like a palace...beautifully decorated, and flowers everywhere. It was wonderful! The proprietor was lovely, and took care of every need...We had a wonderful woman who cleaned our room everyday...

There were some dogs in the neighborhood that barked sometimes. We wish we had learned more spanish before we came, but we will be much more fluent when we return to this special place.

Very quiet, gorgeous view, nice terrace, friendly and accommodating staff, private parking, kitchen facilities, clean, comfortable bed, good location.

Could not regulate very old refrigerator, kept freezing everything. Internet kept going on and off. Windows could not be secured in place so they wouldn't bang shut with the breeze. No blinds in kitchen to keep hot afternoon sun from heating the apartment. Low water pressure (trickle) for shower.

This property is really nice for an incredibly reasonable price. The woman who cleaned our room was amazing! The rooms are all a bit different. We had rooms 7 and 4. Room 4 is really pretty and has a great view. Toilet didn’t flush well and there were only enough dishes for 2 people. The outdoor space for this room is shared and very sunny. This room has a stove and microwave. The WiFi was a bit stronger in this room than 7 but not strong enough for video conferencing. Room 7 is downstairs and has a patio in the gardens. It doesn’t have much of a view of the city but the gardens are beautiful. There are tons of dishes and a larger table where 4 people could sit out on the patio. The patio is probably shared but doesn’t seem to have many others using it. It is shady. To shower, you step up into a tub. This room has an oven, stove and microwave. Both rooms are very comfortable and they even put fresh flowers in the room. There is a hill. San Miguel is the same altitude as our town and we are used to walking so it didn’t bother my husband and I. My 74 year old parents did fairly well also. I wouldn’t let the hill dissuade you. It is 70 pesos to get a cab (80 if going a farther distance). The cabs are easy and the drivers were all really nice.

It could use a bit of work on the rooms but for the cost, not a big deal.

Friendly helpful and cheerful staff. They provided us with a map and answered our many questions. Excellent value for money. The kitchenette had everything we needed and included a large fridge. Good location - just a few blocks down the hill and you are at the main square. Lots of space for a couple. Comfortable bed and good bedding. We slept very well. We would stay here again and recommend it.

Going home up the hill could be tough, but you can take a taxi when you are tired or carrying a lot.

The staff was very warm and caring. The location was close to everything a bit of a hike up the hill but always a cab close and good go us. The unit had a frig and stove so we could make patio and views were open and charming. I would stay there again

The last two blocks up the hill at 78 years of age are challenge, the taxi was a win and I would do it again

The Master Suite was very private and the bedroom was super cozy. The staff were all friendly and did their very best for us.

The suite interior was a bit more worn than in the pictures. It was comfortable but could use some updating and it would be good to provide basic cleaning supplies although cleaning daily was offered.

The hotel has a unique rustic look and extremely clean. There location is perfect and everything is within walking distance. Jessica and Xóchitl always made us feel welcomed and they did an amazing job setting up tour guides for us.

We love to walk but for someone with bad knees or health issues the location can be somewhat difficult to reach by foot due to the very steep streets.

We had a cozy apartment with a complete kitchen (stove, oven, fridge,.pots and pans) that was awesome in saving money from dining out constantly. We had 2 beds--one in the bedroom w closet and tv. The other bed in an arched alcove that was really cute. Nice bathroom that even had a tub! Plus we had a working fireplace in living room and we could purchase optional log. The staff was courteous and helpful. And the interior courtyard was full of plants and flowers and trees. Lovely grounds! Our location was close to downtown but quiet. An easy walk down the hill but a difficult walk up the hill! Would definitely stay again. We were very pleased with the value and service.

My only fault was with the spotty (at best) internet. Even standing under the router didnt help. It might have been simply a function of our location on a hill. Other than that, no other cons
