The property was very modern among some more traditional buildings. The staff were friendly & attentive & were very helpful. The rooms were compact but spotless & had all the necessary items including some lovely toiletries in the bathroom. There was no kettle in the room but hot drinks were available downstairs in the lobby/restaurant. Breakfast was very nice, good selection of items & staff were lovely. Riazor stadium was less than a 3 minute walk & pretty much right on the beach. We walked into town which was a nice 15 minute walk. Would definitely return!

Everything! -location 👍, right near beach & the maritime way walk to Torre Hércules, walkable to train/bus stations, easy walk to a great supermercado. Great location for exploring A Coruña. Staff 👍👍-can’t praise them enough. I enjoyed meeting & chatting with each & every one of them. The room was fantastic - every detail perfect: thick towels, lovely bath products, comfortable bed. The entire hotel was super clean, nicely decorated, colorful. Breakfast!!! Was the best ever. Best tortilla española I’ve ever eaten (& I’ve eaten my share). Breakfast was nourishing & delicious: fresh fruits, fresh squeezed orange juice, yogurt, pan, tomate -to make your own pan de tomate, meats, cheese, pastry. And made to order cafe con leche! I already miss the breakfast at this hotel -it was special.

Only thing I didn’t like is that I could not stay longer!! —& I stayed for THREE days!…to recover from jet lag & vacation a bit by the sea, before traveling to Ferrol to begin my Camino.

We had a great stay at the Mar del Plata. Reception staff (and all the staff we met) were excellent and particularly friendly and helpful. The hotel was really clean and the bedroom (though a bit short on storage) was spacious and very pleasant. The shower was excellent and the bed was very comfortable. We really like having a view of the sea too. There were nice bars and restaurants in the area. We had breakfast as part of our stay and we really enjoyed it, especially the fresh orange juice and coffee.

We found the hotel's position excellent - but we do like a walk. Others might feel it's quite a long way to some parts of the city (but close to the sea)

I was very impressed by this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was very stylish however the main thing I was impressed by was the room itself. Considering this is a 2* hotel, I was really impressed by the room's style and amenities. There was a modern bathroom with nice gels and lotions, but in addition to this there was a bath in the room itself which was a pleasant surprise and gave the room a more luxury feel. The room was also a great size and I was fortunate to have a view of the sea too. This hotel should be more than 2 stars!

This cosy boutique hotel has everything you may need for a great stay without spending crazy money. The roomes were decorated to our taste, they had a fantastic bath to enjoy on the bedroom itself and the toilet facilities and products were great quality. The breakfast was amazing, the coffee was made to order (not from a machine) and the food was very tasty. Fantastic staff 10/10!

I think there was little room for hanging clothes and storing our belongings in general, which was not a matter or room space but a design/user experience issue.

Loved how clean and tidy the room was. Staff would keep it well maintained every day. Clean towels were provided daily.I got lucky to get Seaview and it was amazing. The location was good although you need at least 20 mins walk to the city centre. For those enjoying walking life me,it won't be a problem. The Riazor beach is 5 mins away. The seafront was beautiful. The breakfast was basic but tasty.

A small fridge would have been a good addition to the pretty room

Very nice location right at the edge of the main beach, lots of restaurants just 5-10 mins walking distance, spacy shower, very nice breakfast, all that you need. Parking worked out perfectly, got the availability acknowledged some days prior to arrival. New and clean.

Prime location just opposite the beach. The place looks like it's just been done up. Everything is smart and super clean. Granted,room size is compact, but every space has been used creatively so you have everything you need. Loved the shower in particular. A good breakfast and very kind and welcoming staff. Reasonably priced parking opposite the hotel. This place is excellent value for money. Book without hesitation.

Since there was no pots and cups, I asked for a recommendation for places nearby. A very nice staff at the reception kindly prbpared coffee w/ a slice of cake. So generous.

Wished if they had a safety box in the room.

The warm welcome, efficient, friendly, helpful staff, cleanliness throughout the hotel and rooms was exceptional. The room was warm, bed very comfortable, quality linen and towels. Shower super. Beds made up and room tidied every day. Location is perfect with taxis situated outside, near plenty eating places while quite. The hotel deserves higher star rating. Well done team Mar de Plata

I was cold while eating my breakfast, heating was off and front door of hotel was kept open? temperature most of the days being around 6,7° made it uncomfortable. Also not having a kettle in the room. This didn't affect our stay but we would of certainly enjoyed it a little bit more
