My partner and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the hotel in Polanco and I must say, it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The location of the hotel is fantastic, so quite and situated in one of the most upscale and vibrant neighborhoods in Mexico City. Speaking of the staff, they were truly exceptional. They went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our stay was perfect, from the check-in process to the tour recommendations and everything in between (especially spa!). Their attention to detail and willingness to assist with any request was truly remarkable and greatly appreciated. The accommodations themselves were also top-notch. We've got the upgrade to the top room that was spacious, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully designed with all the amenities we could possibly need. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay in Polanco. The combination of a great location, exceptional service, unique decorations and top-notch accommodations make it a truly exceptional experience. Thank you to the entire staff for making our stay so wonderful!

I wish we can stay longer!

Location, staff and property were exceptional. The common spaces were gorgeous- chic, warm and fun. The staff was lovely and so helpful. And the breakfasts, with a full menu and as good as you'd get if you went out, were a delightful surprise.

They have a policy that foreign travelers booking over a certain amount need to do a bank transfer (not credit card), which was a hassle, then there was confusion about if they received it, and there were extra fees on our end. This policy should have been disclosed at time of booking, and should be streamlined (I've never had to do this at other hotels). Also, the rooms weren't the highlight - ours was also a bit cold and amenities were scarce for the price, our kids' room lacked an external window (opened onto internal stairwell) - but overall fine and the rest of the experience there was perfect.

Excellent boutique style hotel; typical Polanco architecture; nice patios; great atmosphere. Just off one of the most prestigious shopping streets in Mexico City; walking distance to Chapultapec and National Anthropology Museum; lots of bars and restaurants around; a vegan diner right beside the hotel. Extremely friendly and helpful staff; easy WhatsApp communication.

Some of the rooms with two queen size beds (i.e. suitable for a family of 4 like us) are trapped, i.e. without outside window. We were luckily able to change the rooms.

The moment I stepped into the hotel, I was immediately taken in by the beautiful works of art and tastefully appointed lobby. Check-in was lovely thanks to Daniel at reception who made sure I was comfortable during my stay. When my bathroom faucet wasn’t working properly, he upgraded my room and apologized for the inconvenience of switching rooms (though I explained I didn’t mind). Breakfast was delicious — where the dishes match the photos and taste even better! It was great to stay here and will definitely be checking out Pug Seal hotels in the future!

While it doesn’t have a fitness center, there are gyms around the area and the neighborhood is great for morning walks.

Everything. Fabulous little boutique B&B. Staff was courteous, friendly, helpful and pretty much always available. The breakfast is excellent, made fresh and delicious. The room was spacious and comfortable and there were plenty of places in the hotel to sit down and relax, have a coffee, read, or whatever. Coffee and fresh lemonade are available all day. Excellent location in the heart of the Polanco shopping district with plenty of excellent restaurants nearby. Nice location for walks in the morning.

There wasn’t a thing that we didn’t like.

The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. Weeks later I am still thinking about the breakfast. The chef is a master! I couldn't wait to get up in the morning and start the day off with the most delicious breakfast and great service! Our room was large and opened up to a private balcony. The bed was very comfortable and the linens and pillows were nice quality.

Everything about our stay was a was great! However, if you want a window in your room, ask for one. I noticed that some rooms do not have a window.

Beautiful - stylish - chic - quiet - perfect location in a very safe neighborhood with nice restaurants and stores nearby - staff was just perfect and breakfast delicious

We felt we booked in the property pictured and ended up being redirected in the other property on Poe street, nice as well but not as impressive as the first one. - the noise in the bedroom at night due to what sounded like neighbours metallic stair case along bedroom wall

The hotel was beautifully decorated with trendy pieces and tasteful contemporary art. They had fresh juice, coffee, Mexican coffee, cookies, sandwiches, and fresh fruit complimentary to guests in the lobby. We loved their outdoor living areas: the garden, terrace and rooftop. We felt safe at the hotel due to their 24 hour security. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. The staff was super kind and provided amazing service. The hotel also had massages available (however, we didn’t have time on this trip to book one .) The hotel was located in a great area of Polanco, close to many highly rated restaurants. They also have beach cruisers for guests to use to get around. They even had complimentary tequila. This hotel was a highlight on our first trip to CDMX, a great stay!

We honestly have no complaints, but if the hotel wanted to improve slightly l believe the bathroom/sink area could have a bit more illumination.

Simply amazing. From the minute you walk through the lobby and you feel that the vacation has begun . The staff were super welcoming. Every day a delicious breakfast of your choice. The rooms are kept in impeccable shape and cleanliness . Luxury all around . I could not have made a better choice

Upgrade on arrival Hotel is in a great location in a beautiful building in Polanco. The staff are lovely - Giovanna gave us lots of advice and guidance and was super friendly. Very boutiquey in style, lots of cute and individual touches. Free bike rental Liked that everything was included, from breakfast to soft drinks and beer in the mini bar and flavoured water and fruit / cookies in reception. A small touch but a nice one. We didn’t eat breakfast but it looked great and nice that they offered us the option to take it at one of their nearby sister hotels. Nice outside areas, especially the rooftop area which gets more of the sun than the Ground Floor.

While we were pleased & grateful to be upgraded, I would mention that the room we had booked (Junior Suite) was very small - bear this in mind as for the price I think we would have been a little disappointed had this been our room.
