We stayed in the Ambassador Suite. It was very spacious, with a large lounge, dining table, small kitchen, comfy king bed and a large bathroom. The unit was clean and overlooked a swimming pool and had views over a lagoon. The property is located 25 minutes drive from the airport, but with easy access to Auckland CBD. Sylvia Park Mall is 15 minutes walk away. The staff were friendly and helpful and responded promptly and effectively to our requests.

The kitchen fridge froze all our food; staff came to adjust the temperature and our food was replaced. We reported a faulty power outlet; this was out of our way and we asked that it be fixed after we left. While we enjoyed our stay, the room was a bit tired - kitchen drwers out of alignment and cupboard doors in the lounge that did not close properly.

Mhmm well where should I start 😆 idk but it seems we had a visitor of the non human kind in the early hours of sunday bout 3.30am to be exact which left my hubby a little shook up I forgot to ask the Attendant at the reception if there had been any other experiences with that particular room. Shadow on the wall the feeling like someone sitting on the bed then the tv remote being dropped on his foot, the kettle button clicking off the bathroom door handle rattling then opening and shutting and the bathroom tap turning on by itself other then that yeah was a great facilty

What a brilliant place to stay with stunning grounds & gardens. Awesome onsite dining with large open air deck. The staff were all brilliant, thanks to the professional and fun check in team, the high standard of service from the bar staff (delicious food thanks to the kitchen staff), Housekeeping were also so friendly and professional. Even at check out again the staff were efficient, quick, and friendly. The location is excellent, there is so much to do at Sylvia Park for shopping, dining, movies and tons more. The hotel has a stunning view over the water and the walk around the waters edge is a must do. We didn't try out the pool - it looked stunning, sparkling clean, but its outside and it was a windy cool day, even though it was sunny. Our room was spacious, the bathroom exceptional - bath plus massive shower with all the extras, bed was super comfortable & pleasantly surprised that there were extra blankets without having to ask. Room service food options and hours of operation are exceptional. Love that there was a vending machine onsite for I look forward to my next stay

Suite was large and the furniture was excellent quality - bed, chairs and couch all very comfy, with complementary choices made for curtains, light fixtures etc. Bed made up with 6 quality pillows, and was supportive and cosy despite the classic hotel situation where 2 king singles are pushed together. I was also lucky enough to be granted a generous 11:30pm late check out.

Lots of little things cheapened the overall experience: one of the bedroom doors was entirely off its runner; there was quite a big leak at the base of shower head; the finicky and rather loud air conditioning; not enough cutlery for 2 people and chips in the saucers. It's a shame for the price point.

Spacious bed room & bathroom Comfy bed. Really great staff friendly and attentive. Particularly Katherine , Lana working hospitality at lunch at Reiki conference was Banquet Room 1 Aug 32 & Sept 1 . All staff though were lovely. Great biews across lagoon goid dinner too!

Could be a bit noisy from adjoining room to Banquet 1 during conference . Partitions seemed to vibrate - distracting. I had to ask at Reception for Fire escape protocols - apparently should have been in written instructions in Banquet room but there was just the alarm button .Important these are provided .

Good variety with the morning buffet, with super friendly staff willing to help. We had the dinner buffet, and corporate lunch where the food was delicious. Again, the event staff were more than helpful. And made the work function run smoothly. Rooms a good size and comfortable. Close proximity to Sylvia Park is a huge plus and offers great offsite food options and shopping.

Ran out of food in the dinner buffet for our event. Food was a little expensive for what it was in the restaurant.

We stayed in the Gallery Suite 8th-26th Dec then the twin Bureau 26th to 31st Dec and from the Room Service, to the food, to the views, the basin, the grassy area, the vending machine, to the facilities and the ample parking available and all the hospitable and kind workers we encountered, I couldn't fault Waipuna! I stayed with my toddler and had family visiting everyday and all felt welcome no matter what time of day or night we moved about. We ordered from their restaurant daily, we were never dissappointed and the coffee was delicious. We hardly used the fridge or the room jug as we ate out alot or ordered from their restaurant. I thank you all, especially Shalika who serviced our room on level 5 which contributed to making our stay one we will never forget! My toddler loved recycling his water bottles each day. felt sad leaving. Our stay was perfect for us! We'll be back. Thank you!

Only if you could put locks on the bathroom doors please.

The rooms were a good size and the shampoo and body wash they supply donated to children’s charities which was so awesome to see

The restaurant was quite expensive so had platters in the bar, the chicken pizza we ordered was the best thing supplied. The platters were over cooked the chicken nibbles were as hard as a rock and nothing had seasoning or salt on it. Ever the squid was bland when it was supposed to be to be salt and pepper squid. For the $170 we spent on two platters and two pizzas it def wasn’t worth it and we needed up spending more buying noodles out the vending machine. The pillows are way too thick you can’t sleep on them. Our son slept on it and went to his Colgates event the next day unable to move his neck or shoulder properly.

We loved our rooms. Both were on the 5th floor which overlooked the Panmure basin, and beheld the most beautiful views. Our beds were comfortable and bathrooms well equipped with beautiful self care products that smelt Devine. The buffet breakfast was delicious with an amazing variety of breakfast food for everyone's favorite sweet or savory desires. Staff were friendly, supportive and kind. They gave us some complimentary bubbles and a very heartfelt card for my husband's birthday. Thank you so much Waipuna.

There was a bit of confusion regarding our breakfast being paid for, as was confirmed with booking.com. The matter was handled well by the lovely dining staff and duty manager, which worked out well in the end.
