Wow. I am so glad I stumbled upon this place. The hosts are incredible and accommodating. Peter gave me recommendations on where to eat, people to talk to about business and just generally friendly. The rooms are huge and the outlook to the bay is wonderful. The shower was hot and the water pressure strong. They have two super friendly dogs, a lovely little ankle licker called Star and this mound of an animal, Wendy. These two will lick you from one side of the pool area to the other. I felt like being at home here. After a day in the madness it is an incredible respite. You should definitely stay here if for one night of for a week. Well worth it!

Garden House Hotel is an oasis of space and light! Gorgeous, spotless, airy, great view! Hosts very friendly and helpful. Situated close to ferry port and you can arrange a drop off in time for boat! We were served breakfast (continental and bloody delicious) on our private terrace so we could enjoy the view and the space there is an inviting pool, we arrived in darkness tho from a long journey. It is a pity to stay just one night, this is a lovely spot. Truly luxurious. There is air con but with the breeze you barely need it. Thank you ..I hope to visit again!!

We stayed with Peter before traveling to Karimunjawa. He and his wife were a big help. They helped us get the tickets for the ferry and to rent motorbikes. They also told us good spots to visit in Jepara. The stay was very pleasent and we really felt welcome and like home. On our way back we stayed another day in Jepara just to spent another night in the Garden House.

Beautiful quiet area, nice restaurant close by, pool is perfect to cool off. Breakfast is served in room on request. Host is wonderful, gave us lots of information and took us on a little roadtrip!

Simply amazing, specially Peter that helped us with all the organization of our trip. Garden house is the perfect gateway to karimunjava. It’s clean, it’s friendly, it has a nice view on the bay and breakfast on the terrace is great!

Loved everything

Beautiful view and garden. Swimming pool was nice. House well located, 10 minutes by car to the harbour. Service arranged by the owner. They do not cook, but near restaurant offer this service and bring your dinner at home, food was good. Breakfast prepared bu the owners is really good. There are 2 beautiful dogs living here.

First of all, I travel a lot. I usually leave feedback every time. Good if the accommodation was worth it and bad if I didn't feel comfortable. This time I was wondering if there was anything I could give bad feedback for?? The only bad thing was that ... I didn't want to leave. I highly recommend this accommodation if you are planning a trip to Jawa. Thank you Misni and Peter! I'm sure we'll meet again. Breakfast was the best possible. the location was very good. I enjoy every moment I spent there.

There was no such thing. Everything was as good as it could be.

Very quiet area, no traffic noise or call for prayer. Home like feeling, we didn’t see other guests much. Our room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was peaceful, we were only customers at the table eating and talking with the owners. We rented also a scooter from the homestay. We didn’t have time to swim in the pool but it looked clean and the water was warm.

The property is in a really peaceful and quiet environment. The owner Mr. Pieter made sure everything was comfortable for us and he even helped us with some furniture shopping and information regarding the same. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

Everything was good

By far the most spacious and luxurious room I have stayed at in Indonesia so far. A really peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life. And a good restaurant just a couple of minutes walk away. Outstanding value for money.
