Breakfast was excellent. Location was excellent - both the room itself and the sitting area outside. Pascal and Patricia were charming though they don't speak English.

We didn't like the little note that said "either give us a rating of 10 or don't rate us at all". I don't thing I have ever rated anything as 10: nothing is perfect. And I certainly wouldn't after reading this note. Apart from this I personally don't like bolsters and would prefer two pillows instead. However, I realise that that is very much a personal preference. We would have liked an extra towel: 1 (small) bath towel and 2 hand towels is not really enough if two of you want to have showers.

Location and convenient parking were real pluses, as were the peace, tranquility, and setting of the establishment. The breakfast was excellent. The charming and helpful friendliness of our host and hostess were much appreciated and, together with my other comments under this heading, explain why we decided to enjoy their hospitality once again on our return journey from Spain having previously stopped over at Le Clos des Passiflores on 20 December 2022 when we headed south to the Iberian peninsula.

There was nothing we didn't like. Ours was a very comfortable and enjoyable stay, and it was great to be able quite simply to stroll a very short distance into the medieval centre of Pons to enjoy a tasty meal at L'Arriere Cour (succulent suckling pig this visit) or any of the other restaurants including that at l' Hotel de Bordeaux where we dined in December.

Very welcoming and attentive hosts, comfortable and well-equipped room, nice breakfast. Pleasant garden area. I would be happy to stay here again in the future. In response to your comment: I wasn't at all disappointed and we both enjoyed our short stay in Pons, but I only get to choose a rating of 9 or 10 and to give a 10 (which I have only ever done once) I expect absolute perfection and a property that genuinely exceeds my expectations. If it was possible to rate 9.2 (and keep your rating the same) I would be happy to do so but it isn't.

Great find, the rooms are like having your own ground floor small apartment, so easy to access. The owners usefully met us on arrival as they live on the plot and were very helpful and explained how everything worked in the accommodation. Really good breakfast, very quiet over night and comfy bed and super hot shower. Parking right outside the property and an easy walk into beautiful Pons for a Leffe and a meal. Le Clerc supermarket easy to find for fuel and provisions. I do not hesitate to recommend every aspect of this stay.

Genial hosts, warm welcome, in nice small town close to motorway. Surprisingly good choice of restaurants in evening, within walking distance. Peaceful, comfortable room and bed, made for perfect pit stop. Lovely breakfast too.

Excellent service re room introduction as we are English speaking. Host personally took us to our early morning train and made sure we were at the correct stop. They even packed us a breakfast to take with us as we were leaving so early. Very appreciative.

Very nice place in small medieval town of Pons. Nice surroundings, garden, comfortable room (I stayed in a small house), a small pool, very quiet. I enjoed my first stay and I am very grateful for kind hosts!
