The facilities were good, staff were excellent, room was very clean and kept well by housekeeping. If I had one gripe, it would be paying for coffee in the morning, I would have thought one maybe included in the room price. But, it is what it is, other than that, it was excellent all round.

As stated above, if I had only one gripe, it would be that there was a charge for coffee, I would have expected that one may have been included in the room cost like most other hotels, however, this isn't a deal breaker the hotel was great with everything you needed.

The hotel was generally nice, the rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good especially for what seemed to me like quite a small hotel. It is a quiet residential area, so not a lot of noise any time of day.

Location wise there is not much around, so there are not a lot of option to get food. Also no fridge in the room to store any bought food, that was the only thing I was missing in the room.

the beds... what is wrong with Germans and their innate need for having double beds consisting of two separate mattresses and coming with two separate blankets?

Staff were excellent, so courteous and helpful. Breakfast wasnt very good. Only hot food was the scrambled egg and it was terrible, no bacon, no sausages and no facility to make toast.For the price of the breakfast it was very disappointing.

Poor and expensive breakfast lets down the hotel. No proper bar with limited selection of alcohol being served at reception. The plus points of the hotel compensate for the other minor shortcomings.

Was recommended the hotel by a colleague; the room is excellent; walk-in shower which I like, but no bath. Lack of bath not a problem for me. I like that I was able to make the room totally dark and quiet. Parking easy and plentiful. No tea/coffee in room but 24hr access to coffee machine in restaurant. Hotel is 700m from the world's biggest HARIBO shop!!!!!! This could cause folk to check their baggage allowance :)

There's no evening restaurant and it's in a residential area, so you need to think about where you're going to eat.

Excellent room, clean, comfortable, very silent. Very good breakfast offering. Nothing to complain about at all. But the best surprise was the *superb* quality of the Wifi. I've been in many hotels in Germany over the last year and a half and, no matter how good the hotel, the Wifi always sucked. Once I was even told the most egregious lies about why that was the case (they didn't know I'm an IT guy who was at the time traveling with Wifi analysis software...) None of that @ Nyce: everything just worked immediately and with absolutely zero speed issues.

There's really nothing to dislike. The room didn't have "a view", but I wasn't expecting one, given the location.

Very friendly and helpful, relaxed, easy going. Excellent service and cleanliness. Shower fantastic. Hotel was a bit out of the way but public transport is nearby and city centre a short journey away. We did not opt for breakfast so can’t comment there. Automated shutters meant room was hot until we figured out best air flow. Enjoyed our time there overall.

In-room facilities could be better, e.g. no fridge, tea/coffee making, but you can ask for a kettle and there is grocery shopping a short walk away.

We booked a Super king room with a terrace as we travelled with our dogs, we had a call a few hours before our check in to say that the room was unavailable but they could put us in the same size room without the terrace, which I agreed with. On arrival we got allocated room one which is through a door just off the lobby, it was surprisingly quiet, comfortable and spacious, with modern appliances and high spec interior. Would recommend.

No coffee or tea making facilities in the room but you can grab one at breakfast to pay for.

The hotel looks brandnew and my room was spacious. Value for money I rate very good, outside the summer period (see below) even excellent.

The absence of air condition (which I wouldn't take as a reason for a downgrading in autumn, winter or spring). Before it was turned into a hotel, this building reportedly has been the embassy of a state located on the equator (whose staff - unlike us sissies - presumably endured German summers without airco easily).
